Poured on-tap at McFairlawn's, Waterbury, Conn.
A: Poured a clean looking amber brown with a one-finger head of loose white foam. Left no real lacing, but I wasn't expecting any.
S: Smells a little sweet, hoppy and bitter. The aroma isn't strong enough to really bring out any noticeable fruits or grains.
T: Sweet malt character up front, and a faint drying hop finish. Very clean, a little creamy and slightly buttery. Kinda light a watery Werther's Original.
M: Pretty clean and light bodied. The carbonation was pretty tame, so the lack of a complete flavor was compensated by smoothness.
D: Nice flavor, great drinkability and good balance make it very drinkable. Not overwhealming in the taste department, however.
Split a pitcher and wound up drinking most of it myself, because my glass always seemed to be empty. It's not spectacular, but my other option would have been Bud Light, so I think I Made the right decision. I probably wouldn't but a six-pack, but it's not bad for pitcher or cheap pint drinking.

Whooo! my first retired review! Fizzy yellow beer, quickly vanishing head. Good blue collar industrialized grain and warehouse floor aroma.
Taste is much the same, mild, thin, heavily carbonated. 6 row? You could play some industrial funk to this. High alpha acid hop take on this one. Long boil. I think this had a slight following from NHL fans and Marty McSorley ones as weird as that is to say. Otherwise, it was pretty standard ale trying to be an AAL stuff at the end of the day. The Irish imagery and whatnot seems like a bunch of marketing, like is this supposed to try and capture the white guy MIckey's angle? Jump out your seat and adopt a dog from the pound, from the pound, get up donate and get down!!
The problem with this over carbonation was when you would let it calm down, you were left with a feeling of getting better informed with a corn syrup, corn filler, not very good malt character kind of beer. If you were looking for a brassy bitter kick with nothing underneath it, this might have been your beer.
