I could easily see this becoming my house beer for the summer. Nothing groundbreaking here but the name is spot on. An easy to drink light beer that has more flavor than most of your run of the mill macro brands at lower price point. Well done, Pabst!

Pouring from a 12 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer pours out pale gold and is perfectly clear. It forms a thin, loose, white colored crown that noisily dissipates to only an outer ring attached to the glass. 4

The nose brings some notes of sweet corn, honey biscuits and slight apple skin along with some bready element and grassy hops. 3.5

The taste follows the nose; honey covered biscuit and bready notes, next to a grainy corn and that grassy hop presence still there. 3.5

It’s a little sharp, and could be smoother. But doesn’t feel “light” or a watered down version of PBR, which is nice. 3.25

Overall, I like the flavor it provides while still being a light and easy drinking AAL.

Better than most light beers available. There is more character and body. I am notably can of light beers but this is one I will have again. Decent taste and lower ABV make it a good summer session choice.

Served in a teku glass

This beer pours straw colors and appears highly effervescent. It is topped with a fleeting white head that leaves practically no lacing.

It has the aroma of grain and cooked sweet corn.

It tastes of cooked grain. It is vegetal and grassy. It is not sweet as some lager are.

Thin bodied with a watery mouthfeel

It has all the flavor of an adjunct lager with a fraction of the abv.

a lower calorie and even lighter version of the classic. i am surprised they felt the need to do this, im not sure how much more session a beer can really be than an original blue ribbon without just being diluted, but here we have an attempt at it. it really is noticeably drier than the original, and that may add to perceived lightness, but the body doesnt jump out at me as much lesser or anything, although i think the recent wave of low calorie beers is cool, ultra has no taste, even something like this is much preferable to that, at least for me. still some metallics in the finish, the same endearing cheapness of the original, and the same high level carbonation that it has as well. not much flavor from any of the grain, the hops, or the yeast, it just tastes and feels like light beer. i have no problem with this, and could pound them down pretty good when they are ice cold, but its not any kind of drastic change from the classic, at least to my palate. there has to be a big market for this sort of thing, or we wouldnt see everyone making low calorie beer, but i dont really know anyone who is seeking this kind of thing out. time will tell if this is another fad or if its here to stay...

Very pale clear gold with two fingers of five minute white head. Good amount of lace.
Smell Is malty and a hint of floral hop scent.
Taste is bready malt with just a hint of grassy hops.
Mouthfeel Is light and fizzy. Finish is light and balanced.
Overall an alright light beer but only available is six pack of pints in my area.

Poured from 12 oz can into pint glass. A 2" foamy white head drops slowly with plenty of lacing. Color is pale straw, abundant streaming carbonation. Aroma is mild grain and water. Mouthfeel is thin and prickly with a dry finish. Flavor has a decent amount of toasted malt and even a slight hop presence. Overall: very good for a light beer.

From the 16 oz. can dated Feb 25 2019. Sampled on March 9, 2019.

It looks like a light lager with its clear, golden-yellow appearance and a quick lasting white fizzy head.

I don't pick up anything in the way of adjuncts on the nose. Just a crackery and grainy sensation and a vague floral hop bite.

Thin body.

A non-complex grainy sweet taste with a slight dry and quick finish. As its label says - it is easy to drink.

12 oz. can poured into a pint glass.

L - Pours a clear, straw-yellow color with about a finger of foam that dissipates quick and leaves a thin lacing. Looks like a typical macrobrew.

S - Couldn't get much from the aroma. Some corn and metallic grain, wet grass, just very weak but not offensive.

T - Similar to the smell, not much taste to it other than corn and some malted barley. A little metallic hop presence towards the end.

F - Very light and moderate to high carbonation. Crisp, clean, crushable, very "easy" to go through a few of these in a session.

O - I've had a few PBRs over the years and just wanted to add another beer to the rating and see how "easy" the lighter version was. It's not much different from regular PBR but with a 3.8% ABV and 110 calories, I could see this being a decent alternative. It's a step up from Bud Light but not much else to beat Miller Lite, Rolling Rock, or regular PBR. Good enough for a few on a hot day and worth the price at least.

Light gold color with white cap.

Aroma of mild grain and somewhat spicy hops.

Tastes of clean grain and a surprisingly large hop influence. Simple flavors well integrated. Hops are present through out and linger a bit in the aftertaste.

Mild to medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Good mild thirst quencher that should match well with a wide range of food styles.

Pabst Blue Ribbon Easy brewed by Pabst Brewing Company, with an ABV of 3.80% This light lager pours out of a 16oz can into a pint beer a light golden amber color with a small white head. Thin spotty lacing to this brew, it does e to the side of the glass. The smell is rich with grains and malts. Mostly smells like PBR but ligher. This brew has the look an smell of most Light Lagers on the market, not saying that is a bad thing. Now for the taste, it is light mixed with mid grains and malts. For what it is worth there is nothing overpowering about this brew, it does go down nice an smooth. Was kinda hoping for more, but it is what it is. This brew would go nice on a hot summer day. If you are looking for something that a has a little BEER taste you should look this one up. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a smooth balance to it. The mouth feel is Light, Clean, Smooth, and Refreshing. Overall I am going to give Pabst Blue Ribbon Easy a solid 3 out of 5. I would drink this again, however I wouldn't go out of my way to get this brew. Pabst Brewing Company, did an ok job with this light brew .

Can to sample glass.

Pale straw.
Smells like.....college.
Rice, grains, mold.
Thin, carbonation is weak.

There is some flavor here, but it is fleeting. I would consider it upper echelon college beer.
