Pours chocolate milk colored. No head, no lacing.

Aroma of chocolate, coffee, cream.

Taste follows nose: Chocolate, coffee, cream.

Thick bodied, zero carbonation. Sweet, creamy finish.

Not exactly my idea of a beer, but it's pretty good, especially from Pabst. A bit pricey.

Just a few ounce taster at a recent bottleshare was enough to convince me that someone should be punished for developing this monstrosity. Milky brown color, like baby diarrhea. Sweet coffee flavored scent. Aroma of Nestle Quik mixed with bargain-bin instant coffee. Smooth, milk-like body with a sweet finish. Barely drinkable. Overall, garbage. Avoid at all costs.

Difficult to review this. Looks like chocolate milk, smells like chocolate milk, and tastes like chocolate milk. Sweet for sure. Glad I tried it once, not sure I would try again. But can see how some folks would like this.

11 FL. OZ. can
Served in a teku glass

This beverage pours like an iced coffee one would receive at a fast food joint. It looks like coffee with a bunch of cream in it or chocolate milk.

It smells like a White Russian. There is coffee and cream and I can tell there is alcohol in there.

The taste is exactly like it smells. Coffee, milk but the alcohol is not obvious.

Full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel

This is really good if you like fast food iced coffee or well White Russians. I am white trash, so I love it.

11 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/18/2019. Pours Opaque chocolate milk color with no head or lacing as expected. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty medium roast coffee, vanilla, cream, milk, white sugar, and chocolate syrup. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of vanilla, chocolate, milk, and coffee notes; with big strength. Taste of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty medium roast coffee, vanilla, cream, milk, white sugar, and chocolate syrup. Mild herbal hop and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty medium roast coffee, vanilla, cream, milk, white sugar, and chocolate syrup on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of vanilla, chocolate, milk, and coffee flavors; with a solid roasted bitter/sweet balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Mild carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, and creamy/silky/velvety mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a fantastic coffee flavored malt beverage. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of vanilla, chocolate, milk, and coffee flavors; extremely smooth and refreshing to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish; amazingly soft/silky feel. Perfectly balanced with authentic rich mocha iced coffee flavors. Little to no Pabst lager flavors to be found, but it did not matter to me. A highly enjoyable offering, would buy again.

Pabst Blue Ribbon Hard Coffee brewed by Pabst Brewing Company, with an ABV of 5.00% This brew pours out of a 12oz can into a pint beer glass. The color of this English sweet/Milk Stout pours out a nice creamy light brown color with no head. There is not lacing to this brew at all. This brew looks like iced coffee, not saying that is a bad thing. The smell is Rich with coffee notes mixed with cream an surger. Now for the taste , it is Bold with flavors. Lots of coffee notes mixed with cream, milk an sugar. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, bit has a super nice balance to it. If you are a fan of iced coffee this is a must have. This brew would go nice with breakfast or anything you drink iced coffee with. Overall I'm going give Pabst Blue Ribbon Hard Coffee a 3.50 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again givin the opportunity to.
Pabst Brewing Company did a nice job with this coffee brew.

Can to snifter while waiting in line for BCBS variants.

LOOK: chocolate milk, light tan-beige. no head, there is a little two-color light dark thing going on, but not from lacing or foam.

AROMA: coffee , vanilla

TASTE: chocolate, coffee, vanilla, lacross.

FEEL: creamy but super thin; more like to yoohoo than real chocolate milk.

Tasty and smooth, but no complexity. Not sure if this qualifies as beer.

As someone else most excellently said - it's not beer - it's Yoo Hoo with alcohol...but since it's listed here and I've drunk it, and more importantly, since I love Yoo Hoo and most any form of chocolate milk, I absolutely love this! But honestly, anyone who puts this much sweet cream into their coffee just isn't drinking coffee anymore...anywho...!!!

This malt beverage is basically Yoo Hoo with a bit of alcohol. This is not beer. Looks like Yoo Hoo, Smells like powdered milk, caramel, Taste again is very similar to Starbucks frappuccino in bottle .Feels like powdered milk Overall a definite novelty beverage that is pretty gross in my opinion. I was waiting to see this beverage posted. I was too lazy but remember every aspect of this strange beverage

this probably shouldnt exist here on BA, its even listed on the pabst website under a heading reading "not beer". is this even a malt beverage? its tough to say, because it tastes like the kind of coffee creamer you dont even have to refrigerate, vanilla and sugar everywhere, no sign of malt or yeast or hops in the least, and that seems like the goal here. this is listed here under milk stout, but it certainly isnt that, as there isnt any dark grain to be found here. this might just be hard coffee, without any fermentation at all. it was served to me over ice, which is a red flag in the "is this a beer or not" debate, but its not a bad flavor, like coffee with sweet kahlua in it, a sort of grain alcohol note permeating through the sugar. its neat i guess there is milk in this, but its also sort of immediately unappealing with the alcohol element. i cant see anyone reasonably drinking more than one of these, even a whole one is a lot. the texture of whole milk, no bubbles, lots of residual sweetness and the earthy, chocolatey coffee, with some vanilla linger. if this is open to voting, im saying not beer, doesnt belong here. if anyone can reasonably dispute this, id love to hear their case. seems like a weird product for pabst to launch, but i guess it really doesnt have any competition out there, and the blue ribbon alone will sell it. interesting to taste i guess, but again, not a beer!

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a chocolate milk color. Smell is of chocolate milk, light coffee. Taste is of iced coffee with plenty of cream, some chocolate is present. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is unique and damn good. Well done Pabst.

This is was surprise. It is a nice change from typical coffee beers. It tastes more like a chocolate milk than a coffee and it is not nearly as bitter as a usual coffee beer. It is smooth and surprisingly delicious. You will not be disappointed.

Looks like hand mixed chocolate milk and tastes like a vanilla Frappuccino and Yoo-hoo, even with that gritty feel. It's weird af, and difficult to consider reviewable beer, but huzzuh!
