Pivo s obsahem alkoholu 4,6%, je téměř není hořká a má jemnou chuť. V létě ideální pro party na grilu. Doporučuje se předložit zralého sýra, smetanovou omáčkou a masa na grilu.

One bottle purchased in Prague.

.5L bottle served in mu Purkmistr mug.

A- Pours a clear deep gold. one finger head with not much retention, no lacing.

S- Sweet malt with a touch of fruit.

T- Caramelized malts, earthy fruits. Little tart at the start, mellows to a hoppy bitterness. Little watered down.

M- medium body, mild carbonation.

D- Pretty good beer, sets itself apart from other Czech beers. Not something I'd search out but I prefer the 11 medium over the regular Svetly Kozel.

Has a pleasantly bitter taste, gentle malt and hops aroma and a perfect spark. It has a higher alcohol % than the regular Kozel which is 10 degrees. That's how the measure ABV in czech. It has a slighlty darker color and little more bitterness than the regualr. Overall great beer.

Aroma
Slight grassiness from hops with a bit of caramel

Mouthfeel
Light on the palette with a bit of wateriness. Pretty lightly carbonated which helps but still a bit thin feeling

Appearance
Poured to nice head in 1/2 liter glass with small bubbles and lacing well but dissipated fairly quickly. Light gold with hint of amber

Taste
Hops follow through with grassiness and only a twinge of bitter. Hint of sweetness, good but not great

Drinkability
Rather, could definitely session as many as would like.

Overall
Not bad but not great. Drinkable but there's an odd sweetness/twang running through I'm not sure about

Had on tap in a pivovar in Prague

500ml Bottle from Hyberniska Mini-Market, Prague, Czech Rep. (42Czk):
Clear with a light golden with a 1cm, bubbly white head on top that turns patchy.

Grassy hops & light malts, some sweetness to it & a touch of bitterness plus some earthy notes.

Grassy & Saaz hops , some spice & an earthy bitterness as well. Larger malts & some sweetness next. Standard but good.

Light & smooth yet not bland or thin. A crisp, non-offensive palate that was easy to drink. There was a hint of spice towards the end as well & the beer has a solid, easy-going drinkability to it.

A fairly standard lager and quite enjoyable without really standing out from the crowd. A nice, easy drinking lager; nothing spectacular but certainly worth picking up.

Another supermarket find in Prague. From a 500ml can poured into a glass, the beer is crystal clear gold with a smallish white head.

It has an aroma of grains and a combination of floral and some spice.

The taste is slightly sweet, with a touch of metallic bite from the hops (not in a bad way). It's a bit grainy and has a nip of pepper.

The mouth is fine, but I think it could use a bit more carbonation.

I really liked the dark lager from this brewery, but this one is serviceable.

Brewed as Velkopopovicky Kozel Bohaty Chmel in Russia. Smells fish. Tastes malts and hops russian style, then fishy finish.
