Very pale Pilsner with absolutely no head on it.

On tap into a dimple beer mug

A - Beer is clear and dark golden in color with a 1" frothy head that dissipates rather quickly to a thin lacing around the edges. This lacing is retained throughout. The head, while it lasts, is white in color. 3.5/5

S - Very subdued aroma with the aroma being chiefly toasted malt but not really bready (maybe just a bit). Not much in the way of hops, mainly just a maltiness making up the aroma. 3.25/5

T - Slight dark toasted maltiness makes up the initial part of the tasting. There is a rather pronounced transition to a sweet (honey?) breadiness, which is unexpected based on the aroma, and then another rather pronounced transition to a grassy hop profile that makes up the end of the tasting. Very simple, but rather subdued throughout. 3.5/5

M - Very light and crisp with a bit of dryness on the back end but the dryness does not linger. This beer maintains a wetness to the profile throughout the tasting. Moderate carbonation burn throughout. 3.5/5

O - This beer features some nice flavors but is quite subdued for me to score it higher. Good beer to pair with food due to its lightness. Crisp from the hop profile despite the malt bill being the main feature here. 3.25/5

I tasted from a can in Toronto Canada...
Different felling on the taste ... very good!
Not too dark but good visual too....

A- Tipical Dark Golden...
S- Soft malted, not too much Hop ...
T- Round ... Little heavy on your tongue in the end ... Combined with the smell ... Good sensation!
M- Good presence and felling around the mouth, rich flavour.
O- Interessant taste, round, Delicious if its very cold and if you leave carbonate few seconds in your glass! in the scale of 0-10 .....
I give score 7.

Recommended ;)

Cheers from Bree!

Purchased at the LCBO for $2.30 for a 500ml can. Served at 4deg C in a draught glass

A- Opens well and pours a nice 1" high white head that lasts for a minute or two before filming out. Dark gold color and filtered clear

S- Lots of malt here. Some hops but nothing special.

T- Rich with a heavy body. Nice malt backbone. I do enjoy this one.

M- Thick and rich.

O- Pretty good little brew. Very enjoyable and will buy again for a late autumn day. Fairly complex for a mass produced brew

Food Pairing

This nice little brew went well with...... BBQ'd hamburgers. I topped mine with cheese, onion and tomato. Tried a bit of mustard on the edge of a bite and it did not go well together so be warned.

Enjoy

Serving Type: 500 mL Can

A- Straw golden with a thin whispy head. Good amount of lacing on the glass and lots of clingy bubbles.

S- Grassy and bready with a little bit of apple/honey sweetness.

T- Taste follows aroma well. Essentially identical.

M- Light body and high carbonation. Refreshing.

O- Not my favourite Pilsner but certainly not the worst. Easy drinking and crisp.

Unsubtle, overcarbonated and cloying. Decent malts but little else.

500ml can poured into tulip 11/1/15

A clear golden yellow with some tiny suspended particles throughout, big bubbles cling to the side of the glass with bubbles of all sizes feeding a large and loose soapy head that falls fast leaving a few patches of lace

S grass, bread, honey, not a whole lot going on really

T not far from the smell, sweet grains and a little grass, herbal and earthy

M lighter side of medium, well carbonated, a little slick, sweet grains linger

O basic but drinkable, simple but nothings wrong with it, would make a decent lawnmower beer

cheap and drinkable but a little boring, I suppose the style rarely excites me
