In this establishment, Dogfish leans more mainstream than "off-centered," though this isn't a bad thing. Service was excellent, food was very tasty. Some portions were generous while others were on the smaller end. Prices were reasonable overall. Some cocktails were great while others were average. If you do not like seafood, options here will be limited for you.

Was in Rehoboth and checked out C&M for first time. Had originally gone next door to the new expanded DFH Brews aand Eats. While that was a busy, noisy and lively place... it was more a big bar and seating was nonexistent. Despite broad list of brews... it really doesn’t seem like a Beer place anymore. Fun but mass market. So we split and went next door. C&M is a seafood restaurant with a great little oyster/clam area. Plenty of rooms and seating. And a solids cocktail bar. Only had about 8 brews but all good DFH Selects. Had the wood aged Bitches Brew.
Really enjoyed happy hour at bar. Plenty of cool friendly people behind bar; plenty of new friends next to us.
Actually could talk Beer. Would definitely go back and try Food as well.

Stopped in the Friday night in March before DFH's WOCAAW. Restaurant was busy but not packed to the gills. The tables are spaced out quite a bit and I wonder if they'll tighten things up during the busy summer season. Decor is eclectic and different areas have different feels. The raw bar display upfront with oysters, clams, etc was tantalizing. We were seated in a room with wood paneling and Sub-Mariner comic books framed on the walls. It was cooky and fun. Customers seemed to be having a good time and were all talking, though overall noise level was quite low.

Staff were enthusiastic and energetic, but seamed a touch clumsy moving around the tables and setting down plates. They were open less than two weeks so that should improve. Odd quibble, but I wasn't a fan of the silverware; seemed heavy and slipped through my hands when I went to change my grip. Had a raw scallop appetizer served with lemon foam, avocado puree and charred grapefruit. Scallops melted like butter in my mouth; the lemon foam and grapefruit paired well and it was a delicious dish, though I would have liked slightly larger pieces of grapefruit. Oyster stew was served with a cream sauce that was almost too rich. Thankfully the SeaQuenchAle I had with it cut the richness quite well. I'm not sure I could have finished it without that balance. We had catfish and rockfish entrees. Both were perfectly cooked and excellent. Catfish came with a rich succotash and hushpuppies that had a barbecue sauce flavor. The rockfish's pesto cream and pancetta were out of this world.

C&M has a few details they need to dial in, but overall it was a great meal. I look forward to returning and having the opportunity to try their keg-conditioned cocktails.
