Another wonderful vanilla cream and orange milkshake IPA. This one reminds me of a creamsicle on a hot summer day. Citrus cream hides the alcohol well. I’m a fan of this one.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is orange and grapefruit. Tastes of grapefruit and orange juice with a slight hoppy bitterness at the finish.

October 2020 Review
16oz can from ML. Poured into pint glass. Forgot to check date, if any, on can
Being lazy, and because it’s 99% what I would say, pretty much copying TreyisWilson’s review. Thank you Trey
A - Pours a hazy golden orange with a thin white head. Good amount of soapy lacing. Agree 3.5
S - Aroma is orange and vanilla. Yes. 3.75
T - The taste tangerine, blood orange, orange peel, vanilla and light bitter hops. I got a little less orange, also mango, grapefruit. Some vanilla, nice malt backbone. 3.75
M - Meidum body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft dry finish. 4.0
O - Pretty solid milkshake IPA. Yep. Reminds me of M-43 more than I would have guessed, which is a good thing but doesn’t measure up as well, but probably not totally comparable. Would happily drink again but might not seek it out. 3.75

Not sure of the date of this can.
Slightly hazy, golden orange with a fluffy white head that rises quickly and almost as quickly retreats.
Aromas of creamy tangerine and sweet orange.
Flavors carry the tangerine, sweet orange, orange creamsicle, followed by subtle notes of pineapple, lemon zest, and vanilla.
Mouthfeel is mildly fluffy with some carbonation throughout.
Overall, a nice semi-hazy offering.

Quite a nice IPA from a local brewery that’s new to me. No date printed on can. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with some fluffy white head and some decent spotty lingering lacing that lasted. Smells of some bright orange, lemon, pineapple, mango, vanilla, bread and malt. Tastes similarly, decent balance and depth. Could have been more juicy and creamy. Smooth mild mouthfeel, decent carbonation. Not bad.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing this can.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy pale orange hue with a thin white head.
S - Aromas of big vanilla, big lactose and citrus oils, almost candle like. The aroma somehow is both good and weird.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice tons of vanilla and lactose. The citrus is almost artificial and waxy candle. Really mediocre.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, body is super thin.
O - Overall this was a very disappointing beer. Next to no redeeming qualities.

Received in a trade, shared with rudzud
Pours a big creamy foamy frothy head with medium retention, some sticky lacing, very hazy lighter orange-yellow color
Nose some citrus, not a ton, also clear lactose, imitation vanilla, fruit loops cereal but lemon orange like, not really blood orange though
Taste big vanilla, fruity imitation vanilla, lactose sugar, some orange, fruity cereal and orange cake icing, fluffy creamy light malt, citrus oil, light bitterness, mild sticky finish
Mouth is thinner bod, light carb too, watery like
Overall eh, vanilla was OK, lactose is there, orange is meh,

16 ounce prowler into tulip glass, filled on 3/24/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense creamy soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, blood orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, oranges, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, blood orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness; and citrus tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, blood orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, oranges, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight lingering resins through the glass. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an incredible milkshake NEIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, oranges, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish; fantastically soft feel. Feels like a lot of Mosaic/Citra. Super juicy hops/fruit, with light dankness; perfectly balanced lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example.
