In the late 1800’s Brooklyn was one of the largest brewing centers in the country, home to more than 45 breweries. Lager beer in the “Vienna” style was one of the local favorites. Brooklyn Lager is amber-gold in color and displays a firm malt center supported by a refreshing bitterness and floral hop aroma. Caramel malts show in the finish. The aromatic qualities of the beer are enhanced by “dry-hopping”, the centuries-old practice of steeping the beer with fresh hops as it undergoes a long, cold maturation. The result is a wonderfully flavorful beer, smooth, refreshing and very versatile with food. Dry-hopping is largely a British technique, which we’ve used in a Viennese-style beer to create an American original.

Got this bottle from jyounger30, thank you for this bottle.
Poured into a pint glass at 41 degrees.
Appearance: A medium amber color with orange and reddish hues in the beer. There is an ivory foamy bubbly head that has some retention. The are some effervescence bubbles not a whole lot. The clarity of the beer is clear. There is some lacing on the pint glass.
Nose: A nice maltiness with a subtle sweetness there are some fruity esters, yeast and floral.
Taste: A very well rounded maltiness with some fruity esters, yeast, floral, and a slight touch of melanoids.
Overall: The mouth feel is carbonated that is a little dry. The body of the beer is medium and the finish is a little dry and lingers for a few moments. This is a really good brew. It has a wonderful well rounded beer with a nice pleasant flavor. This is the 2nd beer from Brooklyn Brewery that I have tried, I like what I am tasting. Very well made would like a crisper finish.

Best everyday beer I have found. That is, I don't want to spend $5 a glass on a nice Belgian every day so Brooklyn Lager is my go-to for an everyday beer.

Pint can poured into an Angler's pint glass. Purchased as a single.
Feel like I am visiting an OG craft beer. Beautiful copper color, foamy head with plenty of lacing as you drink it. Malty. Nice mouth feel.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little lawn mower brew pours
a nice clear amber with a moderate head of white foam that subsides to a
thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some faint lacing. Nose of lightly
toasted malts, caramel, and herbal hops. Flavors follow the nose with
nicely toasted malts, caramel, light breaded notes, and balanced herbal
and zesty hop notes. Mouth feel is medium light teetering on light with
medium light carbonation, and a balanced bitter hop finish that is lightly
dry and crushable.
Overall, solid easy drinker!
Cheers

Pours a very clear copper color with a moderate white head. The aroma is sweet and malty, although a bit vague. The taste is sweet and malty; primarily the state of caramel and spices. The mouth feel is a bit sticky.

Pours dark amber gold medium carbonation and a decent foamy head. Dark and earthy aromas with sweet notes. Initial malt and toffee taste washed down with slight hoppy aftertaste. Smooth and crisp feel. Nice example of how you can change up a lager.
