The beer pours an off color, almost orangish small bubbly head that dissipates immediately. The beer itself is a cloudy dark orange note that resemble the color of a grapefruit.

The smell is very pleasing and tropical. The smell has hop notes that resemble grapefruits, and a bit of pineapple as well. The malt sweetness also comes out and balances the hoppiness a little bit by giving it a a very sweet caramel backbone for the hops to ride on.

The taste is even more hoppy and tropical than the smell. The hop notes are orange, grapefruit, and a little bit of pineapple that comes up in the aftertaste. The beer also has a strong honey note that sweetens the rest of the beer and slightly overwhelms the hops in the brew. The malts also make an appearance as a caramel sweet flavor.

The mouthfeel is fairly smooth with very little carbonation. The beer feels incredibly light for a DIPA even though it is medium bodied.

Overall, a decent beer and worth getting at least once to try, but I wasn't very impressed. Especially when there are better offerings.
