Picked up a single from TW Arrowhead in early July for $1.79. Best before August 2016 but it has been housed in the beer fridge since purchase.

Beer poured golden orange with a smallish white head that dissipated pretty quickly.

Nose has hints of citrus and the malt base.

Taste is very well balanced between lighter colored malts and a refreshing light grapefruit finish.

Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and fairly refreshing.

Overall not a bad summer beer that is worthy of a shot.

Take this review with a grain of salt as my beer is at the tail end of it's shelf life as indicated by the best by date on the bottle. That being said it still was an enjoyable beer.

Look: Pours a clear pale golden yellow color with a one and a half finger off white head.

Not even going to bother to comment on the aroma as it's almost non-existent. It's my own fault for buying old beer, but whatever hops they've used have clearly faded this far into the beer's shelf life. I'm just getting malt.

Taste: Thankfully the hops haven't faded on the palate. I'm getting a nice, dry note of grapefruit and orange rind upfront that plays upon a backdrop of slightly creamy, sugary, bready malt. Some pine sap and pineapple juice is also detectable

Feel: Lightly carbonated and light in body.

Not bad at all for a session ale (and a four month old one at that). Definitely going to need to revisit this fresh at some point, it has potential.

Overall: Nothing special. Just a nice, bright and sessionable pale ale.

From Saveur-Biere. In Teku glass. At dinner, with tortilla+sausages+cheese sandwich. More a golden ale. Good for what it is. Sessionable, refreshing, a bit watery and with some grassy bitterness and taste. A bit sticky feeling at the end of the sip

Just seems like a rather stale summer brew than a refreshing one. It is drinkable, but only had it on tap.

L- pale gold, thin bubbly head
S- breadiness, lemon, herbs
T- doughiness, followed by floral lemony linger with a grassy finish
F- is light bodied, watery, and average carbonation
O- is a light sessionable ale to quaff and quench my thirst so it is perfect for what it was made for

I've been searching for this ever since having it on tap at Liberty Kitchen in Houston Heights. I thought it had a nice, crisp, slightly sweet flavor and pretty golden yellow color. I will go for it again!
