A golden rose to amber color with mild clarity and a nice frothy white head leaving some nice scum for you to admire.

The smell hits kind of waxy and kind of plasticky with a pleasant malt, but nonetheless clean and well-balanced in such a way that waters the mouth.

Well-balanced taste with fruit note that resembled baked apples (no cinnamon) and the sweet nectar of a peach. That's what stood out to me, but this by no means is a fruity or sweet beer. Biscuity body (no butter, but still flaky).

I think the feel of this beer is what really made it superior to me. It was full on the palate, yet light at the same time on the finish. Very soft and very pleasant.

I'm not too well versed when it comes to English pale ales, but I'm a staunch fan of seasonals, particularly the summer. While many summer selections simply lighten up on the body and the taste, Brooklyn's selection seems to have have found a balance between all the things you love about a good tasting/feeling beer, while at the same time making it extremely refreshing. Time to stock up now before the season changes, and enjoy this frequently all the way until mid-September.
