Poured from bottle into pint glass.

A: Slight deep amber coloring, nice lingering head and lacing. Very high carbonation apparent. Really nice looking brew.

S: Definite pungy maltiness coming from the nose. My wife stated that it smelled like burned air from a hair dryer. Not the most pleasant nose.

T & M: There is something about the malt or yeast used in this brew that just comes across strangely in the taste. Crisp finish with just the slightest hint of bitterness. Mouthfeel slightly creamy.

D: Drinkable, but this is definitely not the first beer that I would look for on a hot summer day.

Straw yellow poured from a bottle. I was looking forward to this after cutting the grass. Had a slight head and smelled like a beer. I did not smell or taste any citrus. This was a little refreshing but not my thing. Just a beer.

a clear golden yellow pour with nice amount of head and good lacing. smells of lemon and orange peel, slightly bready. taste is exactly the same as the smell. was honestly expecting more...

light body with mild carbonation - i think this would have worked better with higher carb.

i was a bit harsh on it, but it is a nice session ale and very mellow. in my opinion, they should have just made a weaker version of sorachi ace and called it their summer ale. you can't go wrong there.

Had this at McCarren park during an Armin Van Buuren concert- Brooklyn Brewery was there to provide beer. Light golden pour with a thin head. Not a strong aroma. Relatively weak taste that fits the lack of aroma. Not a very flavorful beer, but it is easy to drink. Their vienna lager is far better.

I have to say, I was pretty disappointed in this one right here. Maybe the english pale ale isnt my style, but there was not much I liked about this guy right here. This tastes like it could be just about any semi-light beer. There is nothing about this beer that stands out. It tastes like an old bottle of Acme pale ale I drank a while back. I will finish the glass, but I will need something to wash it down with for sure...

Appearance- An impressive gold color with a nice head but average lace.

Smell- Overall balanced smell the sweetness, bitterness and yeast blend well.

Taste- Kind of a little sour aftertaste I was not found of but prior to that it has a nice flavor. Like the smell very well balanced.

Mouthfeel- A bit thicker than what I thought it would be but in a good way.

Drinkability- An average beer for the most part.

Served at fridge temperature in a pint glass. Best by 10/07.

Appearance- Pours a pale apricot into the glass... there are many steady streams of carbonation. Terrific head... three fingers and quite stubborn. Moderate, clingy lacing.

Smell- Huge lemony, spicy nose... too strong for my preferences. Overwhelming aroma which incorporates some bready malts.

Taste- While the hops and malts come together seamlessly, the astringest lemony character and the beer's "summer" spices sabotage the delicate flavors with a heavy hand.

Mouthfeel/Drinkability- *Extremely* puffy and fizzy in the mouth... disappointing and unlike any other offering I can recall from BB.

Poured into standard pint glass
Clear golden color
Aroma--Slightly grassy, biscuit
Taste--Very clean, subtle biscuit, mineral, slight hop profile--reminded more of a lager
Overall, refreshing, if a bit dissapointing offering from Mr. Oliver. Everything is a bit too understated for an English pale ale

This beer pours a semi hazy golden color. The head is half an inch in height, and recedes slowly into a small cap of foam. The aroma is of mandarin oranges, with hints of flowers and grapefruit. It is a very faint aroma. The taste is similar to the aroma, and equally faint. The mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium bodied with high carbonation, and a watery texture. Overall, this is an average beer at best, and I will probably not drink it again.

The look does nothing for me. It's a very clear, straw-colored drink with lots of bubbles. Looks like a mass-produced lager on any supermarket's shelves.

Smells better than it looks. Your nose will pick up bready, lemon and flowers.

There is very little taste, but that's not necesssarily a bad thing. The only think I could note was a malty taste.

Very light-bodied and crisp. It's refreshing and 'clean.' The malt balances any hoppy bitterness.

For a summer drink, this wouldn't be awful, but that's about the only time I'd want to have it.

I buy these beers from all the micro beers across the country when I travel and I have to keep in mind that they won't necessarily be unique but something indigenous to the area where people drink. Straw yellow with a light foam probably a one finger with very little lacing on the glass living here in St Louis I didn't really find it much different than a Bud Light it's good but nothing particularly spectacular as we look at craft beers

A: Brassy with a little head without retention &
scant lacing. Lively carbonation.

S: Slight hop/malt nose with little of either
detectable.

T: Mild grain and malt with a slight hop finish
though all are very understated.

M: Thinish, but not exactly watery. Little of
the visible carbonation detectable on the
tongue.

D: Nothing to write home about at all. A
little better than your macro offerings but
that may just be because I don't feel guilty
buying it.
