Very unique flavor. I like it. Haven't had a Brooklyn I didn't like.

Pilsner glass at Pacific Rim in Ann Arbor. Bottle, did not see date.

A: pours a hazy orange-yellow with a thin white ring of fizz. Little to no lacing. Modest carbonation visible.

S: Now I know what people mean when they say a beer smells like a "barnyard." There is something funky here; like wet hay and baby goats. Organic and sweet; floral and fruity all at once. Sandalwood? Patchouli? It is something unique and potent, I don't dislike the smell, but I don't know that it's one that I'd want my cologne to smell like.

T: tracks the smell; fruity, sweet, hay, malty, tart, more pronounced apricot, raspberry, maybe even white chocolate? Light maltiness, very clean lightly bitter finish.

M: lighter side of mid weight, surprised at the higher carbonation, but is by no means excessive, just more than I'd expect.

O: Always wanted to try this, so glad I did. Don't know that I'd ever get it again. Perhaps a great beer on its own, a bad choice for dinner.

355 ml bottle, Brewers Droop, Bristol - Pours hazy golden with a large foamy white head. Medium carbonation. Nice long lasting lacing. Smell - little citrus fruits, yeasty. Taste - light citrus, hint of hops, malty, yeasty with a crisp dry finish. Very refreshing, drinkable beer for high ABV so watch out.
