No sleep till... Brooklyn Sorachi Ace. So, this beer is either great or a dud depending on who you try this with. Well, this is a very good beer for me. The look a golden hazy orange. The head is off-white and there is just the right amount of carbonation. The nose is a lemon, lemongrass, honey, and bread. You may also notice a sweet malt and mild bitterness.
Fruit, flowery smell, honey also. The taste follows the nose quite well. The feel is like champagne. Light body. Overall a well-balanced beer that is worth a try.

Very pale gold colored beer. Smell and taste are disgusting and urine like. I don't understand how anyone can call this crap outstanding. Never again for me.

I think this was an old keg. Funky notes were ovewhelming. Tasted like a homebrew gone wrong.

Hazy and slightly golden in color with a tall and pubby white head. The aroma is spicy, with a little floral and funk notes. Some grain as well. The taste is balanced, if not just a little dry. Fruit and spice in the taste. Full in body, yet refreshing and intricate. Nice.

I certainly want to give credit to Brooklyn Brewery for creating a spicy brew; however, I am not that big a fan of spicy brews. I do prefer a more hop to malt flavor. Having sais that this is a quality brew if you do like spicy brews. It had a very light golden amber color when opened and poured. It had a nice hop aroma which hid the orange spicy taste that was to follow. It was certainly flavorful but not what I was looking for. My overall feel was rather pleasing.

Slightly hazy orange tinged look with a slight white head. The immediate nose for me was citrus and bready malts. Citrus/lemon , slightly sweet malt and some slight bitterness are the main flavors I detect. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel with fairly strong carbonation. Got to admit, I did not know this was a Saison when I was drinking it but thought it was a good brew none the less.

Poured a slightly hazy, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of lemon, grassy notes, spice and some toasted caramel. Nice spicy flavor with pepper and clove. Sweet caramel and a hint of lemon.

Served from a tap into snifter glass at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Yonkers, NY.
A: Pours a hazy, bright straw to golden color with less than a half inch, white head. Low head retention and limited Belgian lacing.
S: Floral aroma initially, with bread and spice notes. Perhaps a whiff of citrus.
T: Pleasant taste of lemon/lemongrass most notable with a spicy zestiness (?ginger). Only mild bitterness, but does leave a tingling sensation on the palate.
M: Light to medium bodied, persistent effervescence.
O: Complex, subtle, and very balanced. Would definitely drink, serve, share. Really nice execution.
