Interesting nose very floral. Tastes full of bitter hops and ends with a nice floral pick me up. Nice light brew.

750ml bottle served cold into a tulip.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy, pale gold with 3cm of white and foamy head that retains well. The lacing is nominal.

Aroma: Citrusy (lemon), herbal (dill), and spicy (pepper). There's a faint fruitiness and a soft alcohol note.

Taste: Follows suit with the smell with some additional layers. The yeast adds a peppery character while the hops add herbal (dill) and citrusy (lemon) notes. The malt profile is very delicate. Slightly tart and faint alcohol.

Mouthfeel: Medium body with medium high carbonation. Prickly and drying.

Overall: An interesting beer that I thoroughly enjoyed. Well-balanced even though Sorachi is the obvious star here. Perfect for a warm summer day. I'll definitely pick up a bottle of it whenever it's locally available.

On draft in the Newark airport after missing a connecting flight to Portland, OR. A very pretty, almost lemon-yellow with a small, pure white head that leaves a bit of lace. Slightly muted aromas of yeast, citrus and spice - typical saison fare. Taste is delicious - fresh, lively, and so easy drinking. Mouth is just right. Medium body, nice carbonation, somewhat dry and refreshing. Overall, I was quite impressed with this.

Poured a clear yellow color with a huge white head that dissipated quickly and left little lacing. Smells of citrus, lemongrass and Belbian yeast. Tastes of tangerine, lemon, lemongrass, banana, bubble gum and spices. A little sweet for the style. Well carbonated, light bodied, smooth and crisp.
