I had this on-tap at Max's. Served in a sample glass.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with just under half a finger of white head. As the head fades, it leaves some nice lace on the glass.

Smell: I'm getting some light malt along with a spice note. The spice note is a bit garbled.

Taste: I can pick up the coriander and there is a touch of lime peel. Light but I wouldn't describe this beer as crisp. The finish is bready and yeasty.

Mouthfeel: Medium body with prickly carbonation and a dry finish.

Overall: This beer didn't really stand out in any way. Not bad, but I don't need to have another.

On Tap at Blind Tiger 8/15

A: Medium gold with frothy white head
S: Bubble gum - very expected
T: Spicy, Sweet, and lots of bubble gum (overhwelmingly so)
M: Nothing crazy to report here.

O: This is not the style of beer I like, but I do like trying stuff that not everyone gets to try so was glad to have tried it. It was refreshing and a pretty different example of the style. Perhaps a little too sweet, but like what they tried to do here...and lets face it the name rules.

Pours a fairly hazy light golden yellow with a solid one inch whitish head that dissipates slowly, leaving streaky lacing.

Aroma reveals wheat, citrus, and Belgian yeast character, as well as a hint of confectioners sugar and cracker-like malt. There's an overpowering bubblegum/banana thing going on.

Flavor follows suit, with banana and bubblegum at the forefront, while lemon and lime zest notes complement the Belgian esters on a bed of wheat and slightly bready malt. Very refreshing, with a fairly dry, powdery finish.

Body is on the light side of moderate, with fairly high carbonation.

Overall, a well crafted brew, great for a hot summer day. Would drink again, but the bubblegum tones were slightly offputting.
