Nice looking place, tons of room but still crowded (probably due to it being opening week). Everybody that works there seems to really dig what they're doing. The beer is brewpub quality beer, but definitely on the higher end of that spectrum.

First time here, a cool old factory space, Service was friendly and they brew good beer. Projection large screen in the backroom with football on. (If I wasn't working in the morning, a good place to catch the game.)

Had a flight of DB Cream Ale, ESB, DIPA, and Red IPA, all of which were tasty. My only complaint would be, as others have pointed out, DB is pricey. Especially the takeout crowlers.

Hey, they're new, I'll give 'em some time. I'd like to see them price the crowlers to move. And I'll return.

Fun, airy space. They have nailed a legitimate community vibe. Decor is top notch rustic industrial. Huge selection of board games. Restrooms are clean and large which is very out of the norm for Boston. The actual bar is a bit on the small side with room for 8-10 seats. Considering service is bar only, the two service stations wasting bar footage are rather inexplicable. Currently they do not offer tours which should be remedied immediately.

Aside from DBC's DIPA and Irish Stout, I preferred the contract brews over their own labels. I think they should focus on brewing a rock solid flagship ale over having a huge variety of quite good brews.

Drafts average $7. I don't care much for flights in general. It's usually an expensive way to taste beers I don't care for. At $11, this is certainly the case here. They have an impressive number of beers on tap, but their pricing structure almost ensures you won't try them all. They should have a 1oz taster for free or maybe $1 if they must. Unless the crowlers come with a Krugerrand in the bottom, they are wildly overpriced at $13-$16. Unfortunately the message that sends is pretty clear: don't take this home.

Service speed can be improved. Some bartenders are very knowledgeable and enjoy talking shop about beer. Others clearly don't belong in the service industry or would be a better fit at a nightclub.

Food is limited. They sell $6 bags of pretzels which is a bit of a head scratcher. They also sell chips and guacamole which is a better bet and a better value. When I stopped in there was a burger food truck. Great fries, okay burgers. Burger and fries was $13. Service from the food truck was fantastic and they will bring your food into the taproom.

Overall, very good taproom I will return to. The Boston area has struggled with small breweries. Aside from the excellent Nightshift, other offerings are middling at best and downright awful at worst (hello Aeronaut).

Great new addition to Dorchester, still finding its way in terms of consistent experiences.

A convivial place located at the end of Mass Ave in Dorchester (Boston). A former factory building it seems will suited for a brewery and a very casual drinking establishment.

Good range of beers, a big improvement from the last time I visited. The quality of the beers seemed to have improved as well.

By law, food must be offered but there is no kitchen, just bagged pretzels.

Huge variety, had 16 taps. Sampled 4 of what they had, 3 of them were average and the one that stood out was Dorchestivus. The others (Porter, DIPA, IPA) weren't bad, just didn't really stand out. Price point seems way too high for the to-go crowlers, $12-$16. That's close to double the cost of Trillium and the quality isn't even close.

Service was fast and courteous. My server had a good knowledge of the beers on tap.

Atmosphere was good. Seating around the bar and picnic style tables in the main room. The room in the back seemed a little crowded, so I didn't really hang out there.

I'll be back for a pint or two if I'm in the area, but until the price is in line with the quality, I won't be picking up anything to-go.

Cool refurbished sheet metal factory. Huge place with shiny new equipment. Nice looking patio for better weather, plenty of parking in side lot.

No food, but schedule of visiting food trucks.

Friendly folks pouring & serving the beer. No attitude like some other new-ish places around town.

Tried a flight of 4 samplers - a few IPA's, a German Alt and a Baltic Porter. None were particularly memorable, but no obvious flaws either. Only open for 3 months at the time of my visit, so I'll surely give them some time to nail down the beers.

Pricing OK for glasses ($6-7 depending on ABV/style). 32 oz crowlers were a ripoff at $12-16 so didn't consider taking anything to go. Perhaps they can revisit this price point in the future.

Will definitely give this place some time to develop, lots of potential. A big plus for the community in my opinion.

This place has a great atmosphere. Exposed factory vibe. Laid back. Reminds me of Aeronaut in a lot of ways. Games that you can play. Community tables. The beers are just definitely not up to snuff yet. Think terrible home brew. I hope they begin to improve rapidly or they get some good contracts because this place won't be around long if they don't.
