This place looks rather new in the area. Warehouse feel to this place. Large bar can seat about 20+ folks and there are a bunch of tables filling the rest of the space. Lots of natural light from the windows. Surprised to see 40 beers on draft, with plenty of breweries from New England area. Service was not too impressive here, seemed that local friends of bartenders took up some of their time, so I needed to ask for a refill. Overall this is a decent place to grab a beer or two.

Thought I would visit this place, we had done work in the old Kinsley Bldg years ago. They have done a beautiful job renovating the old place.

Took a seat at the bar and waited a good 5 minutes as the 3 not so busy bartenders walked by while nonchalantly looking in the other direction (having spent 40 years on both sides of the bar, this never goes unnoticed)

One of them was kind enough to approach me and exclaim,"I'm sorry. I didn't see you sitting there". Yeah, sure you didn't.

A good craft beer list featuring some local beers and national brands, though not on a par with other well known beer bars, both in quantity, knowledge of staff or prompt service.

When inquiring if the pretzels contain vegetable oil, the person's explanation was lacking. The pretzel ordered was okay at best.

Left and went to Pizza J's. Any thoughts of my being overly critical of Malted Barley were quickly dashed by the fast service in a much busier establishment.
