Poured from 16oz can into glass. No dating on can, even though the brewer advises this beer being drunk fresh.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. Small white head upon pouring, which recedes to islands and foamy ring. Leaves behind some spots and rings of lacing.
Piney in the aroma.
Taste is muddled hops, with pine, citrus, and grassy mixing in. Not much bitterness at the end. Decent malt backing.
Medium mouth feel. Okay carbonation.
An IPA that is missing an discernible aroma and taste profile. Mediocre.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a cloudy gold color with a medium sized off-white colored head. The aroma is wheat and grass. The taste is piney hops and malt.

Pours a hazed gold with 2 fingers of eggshell colored head. Fantastic lacing and good head retention

S: GRAINY, grassy,

T: Follows the nose, a little lemon as well. Grainy and soapy as this warms. Finishes a little citrussy and thin

MF: Light body, light carbonation

Disappointing, but drinkable

Batch 48 tasted in a Spiegela IPA glass from a 22 oz bottle on July 22, 2017. Does not look or taste like a dry hopped Northeast style IPA. Malt forward.

Pours a crystal clear yellowish-orange color with a small tan white head. Recedes quickly leaving only lacing around the edge.

Nose is pale malts and pine, with fruits on the back end, a welcome change from most of the pale ales I've had recently.

Very balanced, more malt forward, as in the aroma. Strong piney resin. A tinge of bitterness on the end, which really sticks on the tongue. As it warms, the sweetness comes into the picture a bit, allowing the (in my opinion) previous somewhat misleading name of Juice Packets have a bit more credence. Subtle notes of apricot, pineapple, and grapefruit.

Medium bodied, very very easy drinking.

For the first beer I've ever had from The Fermentorium (and considering I'd never heard of it), decent impression made here. This is a tasty, balanced, and not overly hopped APA. This would make for an excellent introductory PA.

650ml bottle, served in a snifter glass. Pours a darker amber body with a slight golden hue, one finger white head. Good retention, a bit of lacing. Smells of resin, pine, and a bit of grapefruit; a fair bit of caramel and grainy sweetness comes out the nose as well. Flavour is similar; a fair bit of pine and resin all about, it's not particularly juicy. It has a fairly strong malt backbone from the caramel and grain, a fairly typical balance for IPAs brewed in Wisconsin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, a bit dry on the finish with a bit of resin and floral notes lingering. Nothing too special, but certainly not a bad IPA.

Good beer! Hazy and unfiltered. Kind of reminds me of The PseudoSue that TG used to make in Decorah.
A little More tart juice forward. Very crushable and delicious. Probably the best Wisconsin Pale I've had.

EDIT DOWN - First bottle was the best I had. Got worse from there. Was hoping this one would be really good but consistency is a big problem here.
