16 ounce can, no dating that I could find on it. Label says this is an "American Wheat Ale" so I'm not sure if this should be listed as a hefeweizen on BA or not. Served in a Three Tigers pint glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with not quite an inch off-white head. Head retention is good and there's a decent amount of lacing. The brew smells like wheat/grainy malt, coriander, apricot and some oranges. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with the addition of some banana too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and a bit creamy with a good amount of soft carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, worth a try!

It seems like as time goes on, I like wheat beers less and less. I can totally understand why someone would like this. It has a nice body, fruity hop characteristics and has a good mouth feel. It’s just not for me. It reminds me of a Belgian Wheat Beer which I’m also not a fan of and I’d much rather go for something clean and simple with more malt than hops.

Wow! A very smooth and satisfying Hefeweizen. Dark amber, very little aroma, with a malty, creamy finish. Paired well with a shot of bourbon, neat. Well done!
