This Imperial IPA has an assertive aroma of sticky, resinous Summit hops. A complex flavor profile includes notes of grapefruit, lemon peel, and spruce. Though the flavor focus is on hops, a trio of malts provides a balance to the beer, creating a delicious level of palatability. Hints of caramel, toffee and freshly-baked biscuits are also apparent in the flavor profile.

Murky bright orange.
Minimal white head; no lace.
Booze, malt & citrus nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
A touch too boozy & bitter but a nice citrus-y DIPA.

Poured from an undated 12 ounce bottle. The beer poured a slightly hazy, yellowish- amber color with a minimal head on an aggressive pour.
The smell is faint citrus, mostly lemon and peach with a hint of pine.
The taste is weird. There is a boozy punch up front with a minimal citrus flavor underneath, mostly pineapple. I'm wondering if this is a little old.
The mouthfeel is slightly oily and a little thick.
Overall, it'sā a bit different then most DIPAs. It doesn't really hit strong on any flavor, and the booze is a little too forward.

On tap, served in chilled pint glass. Very interesting combination of flavors ... fun to figure out what all is going on. About to wash down some Green Lantern pizza ... thinking it will be the perfect pairing!

12 oz bottle labeled 12/19 at 10:44.
Appearance- hardy pour it's a slightly hazy copper color. fluffy white head that leaves some lacing.
Aroma- spicy oniony scent with a hint of booze. weird. slightly floral.
Flavor- delicate floral hoppy notes with an onion like spice to it. boozy. like the smell but surprisingly better. the malt is bready.
Mouthfeel- solid medium bodied. good carbonation.
Drinkability- easily gonna kill the four pack.
Overall- i've had this years batch on tap and like many of brews it's wayyy better than the bottle. i'm getting a lot more booze from the bottle. tap also had a more citrusy action going on. not much but it was there. not my top imperial ipa but drinkable and its got unique character.
