L - hazy orange with a touch of yellow. Alright I'm done looking at this beer because it smells delicious!

S - bright candied pineapple. Resonant and invigorating. Herbal tea; maybe chamomile and ginger, but it's faint. Light white grapes.

T - tangerine and pineapple, both of the candied variety. Definitely some grapefruit in there, and zest on all three. Not bouncy and juicy, but more spicy and mature with potent fruity hops balanced by a Graham crackery malt backbone. Finish is surprisingly bitter, the kind that numbs the gums and tingles the lips. Maybe a hint of bubblegum when all is said and done.

EDIT 2018/04/30

The ladyfriend had this to say: tastes like the very bottom of a can of pineapples. The last little bit with that syrupy sweetness and the right amount of tangy bite.

F - medium and balanced. Restrained, allowing the other parts of the beer to shine.

O - aggressive and spicily hoppy. Rindy and bitter with a good juice balance. Errs more toward the tart, bitter citrus fruits.

For me, this was IPA nirvana. I have not yet had the chance to try Tree House or Toppling Goliath IPAs, but I've had many of the incredibly delicious Vermont IPAs and this ranks at or near the top. Please keep making this beer!

Tall can, about 5 weeks in the can

Typical NE IPA kinda pour/look...supports a long lasting and looser egg shell cap and leaves larger bubble ringed sheeting.

Pineapple, oranges and mango infuse the juice bomb sniff

Tasty, fruity, juicy ale, with more pineapple and orange notes dominating the palate...in a good way...been quite impressed with the handful of beers from Foam that I have sampled in the past few weeks, fresh, flavorful and highly enjoyable stuff...this one is no different...go get some

Poured into their fluted snifter at the brewery, this is one hazy brew! Big foamy head on top of a creamy yellow body, completely opaque.

Smell is very hoppy, lots of raw oils here, big pungent leafiness, dank, notes of fruit and malt. Taste is lips-smacking good and dripping with hops. You can really taste the citra here, nice sharp lemon/grapefruit twist with a good tropical and pineapple hoppiness. Super soft mouthfeel, a hair dry at most, and easy to drink this one.

Awesome DIPA from this new brewery. All the rumors you have heard are true, this is good stuff and definitely do the opposite of its name: don't spill it!

Consumed from a one-day-old growler on 8/8.

A: Pours a hazy yellow gold reminiscent of pineapple juice mixed with fresh squeezed lemonade. Half a finger of white head fades quickly, possibly due to loss of carbonation in the growler.

S: Citrus-heavy on the aroma. Hints of orange peel, pineapple, and pine. Bit of crackery malt apparent as well.

T: Pink grapefruit and orange up front. Tropical fruits follow--pineapple, passionfruit, peach. Some light bready sweetness transitions nicely into a rich piney bitterness.

M: Incredibly drinkable for the style. Smooth, soft mouthfeel means it drinks like it's 6-7%. Very lightly carbonated, with medium- bitterness on the finish.

O: A really awesome, Galaxy-forward brew that showcases the soft, smooth, light mouthfeel that I've come to notice in many of Foam's beers. In fact, this one could easily be mistaken for a new release from Hill Farmstead. If you find yourself in Burlington, be sure to stop by Foam and give this one a try!

750 mL bottle. Hazy bright orange. Smells of soft citrus, tropical fruits, and some grapefruit. Tastes of orange, grapefruit, some alcohol. Tropical fruit and a little bit of sweet pale malt in the back end. The finish has a lingering alcohol flavor. Low carbonation. Medium heavy. Smells really good, but maybe doesn’t quite deliver beyond that.
