A pint can serving.
* Canned on 12/13/18 update notes. Flux=Rad

The classic NE ipa look, muddy gold with orange highlights , not just hazy but opaque. A white, bubbly foam stands tall, falls pretty quick for the style, not much lacing, which is something this style usually delivers...

A rich and seriously aromatic nose. Mostly, hoppy citrus burst, pineapple , mango and sweet pine tree sap, peppery tropical juice blend and sweet malt.

A very heady hop flavor dominates. Rich tones of fresh hop cone that brings pepper citrus, bitter earthy and a tangy bite, dry citrus bite, pine and light tropical juices flow free. Pine turns to a peppery hop bite, the malt is very crisp and slightly sweet.

A mostly medium bodied, juicy mouthfeel, dry earthy hop bite and long, practically full and lush feel going down. Finishes earthy and dry.

Overall, Pavement is right where it should be amoung the plethora of New England style Dipa's. Not as complex or unique as gsome...but if you really like pine and citrus bomb hops.....

L - dark, milky, frozen orange. Top layer is light orange yellow and all the darkness sinks to the bottom.

S - crackery and malty. Spicy orange rind candy. Little bit of creamsicle sweetness.

T - orange peel and toasted wheat. Peppery spices and tastes like its baked. Baked beer. Beer battered beer? Passionfruit and resin. Slight bitterness on the end and leaves a pleasant dryness. Melon and mango as it warms.

F - low carbonation and luxuriously creamy. As the beer warms, it retains a cold, crisp center that is insanely refreshing.

O - well balanced, if not a bit on the malty side. Dank, citrusy, spicy fruits and crackered malts.

great beer here, only a little hazy, and bursting with citrusy hoppy goodness, fresh as can be, highly refined compared to a lot of its muddy murky cloudy heavy east coast peers. this glows in the glass under a tall white lace head, and it smells like candied lemon, tangerine, and lime, really sort of crystallized hoppiness, intense, awesome. the flavor is as good as the nose, and while there is a mild tropical fruit complexion in the taste also, i think the citrus characteristics really dominate, again a little sweet in its oiliness at times, a honey note, and a drying almost lager tasting yeast to me that is both subtle and unexpected, it gives a little more base to this, earthy, great with the intense hops, and also more bitter in the end than a lot of these are, it really has a great finish to it, and drinks a lot easier than it strength normally allows for. to me it tastes summery, incredibly fresh to me, and balanced in a brighter way than many. i havent had a lot of beer from foam, but this is fantastic, and i have enjoyed all of their stuff so far! thanks to my brother for sending this can out my way, awesome art on the label too!

Pint can in a fine stemmed tulip glass.

Poured a juice like haze in a lemon-orange colored liquid with a modest white cap. No film but there's decent lacing on the glass. More bright than murky.

Very modest nose. Light aromas of citrus and tropical hops, dry toast malt, and a flower, perhaps.

Juicy hop flavor. Some lemon, pineapple, mango.

Nicely carbonated and more then medium feel. No alcohol burn, slight hop bite. Quite good.

Considering its freshness, I recently picked it up at the scene of the crime, it's nothing special. Pretty good.

Poured from a growler filled at the brewery.

Pours a hazy, golden orange color with a 2-finger fluffy white head. The head settles into a thin film that sits atop the beer. Not much lacing to speak of.

The aroma is godly. So much grapefruit and pineapple, followed by fresh mangoes and a hefty amount of earthy pine resin.

The taste follows the nose: A burst of pineapple juice, grapefruit, and honeydew melon, as well as some mango and pine. Very earthy.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Goes down creamy and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Coats the mouth with just touch of hop bitterness. The alcohol is undetectable.

Overall, an incredible DIPA from these guys. It's juicy, it's tropical, it's earthy. It's pretty much everything I enjoy about the style. Foam continues to knock it out of the park with their hoppy beers.

Slightly hazy golden beer that leaves a few globs of lacing. Smells like overripe citrus and pine. The taste is sweet citrus and big pine. Really nice beer.
