L - man, these guys really gotta get the stretchy string shit for their growler tags. This static twine just makes life difficult for everybody. Oh right, the beer. Pours a lazy orange with a greenish patina hue. Haze for days.

S soft, earthy, pithy clementine. A bit of apple sweetness and some pear candy. Strong melon undertones.

T - grainy, mealy melon flavor. Graham cracker breadiness and orange rind spiciness. We're seeing some dank here, ladies and gentlemen, but it's subtle and gentle. Raw grapefruit bitterness. Bounces back and forth between juicy honeydew and resiny pine. Finishes grassy and herbal with an underlying bitterness that casually numbs the tongue.

F - true to their name, this is smooth and flowing out the gates. Once the rindy bitterness picks up, the prickles jump in and saturate the tongue with hops and tingles.

O - a gentle, but strong brew. Soft and focused flavors balanced artfully by just the right amount of hops and malt.

The beer comes in a straw color, hazy for days.

The aroma hits of light doughy, earthy and green, pineapple.

The flavor expands with silky smooth pulpy juice consistency, pineapple, orange drink (Sunny D), spruce and pine on the finish. Along with some chewy light breadiness to match the chewy mouthfeel of the beer. Very juicy and kills it on the mouthfeel.

A: Hazy, straw colored yellow with a thin head that dissipates quickly. Not the prettiest of beers.
S: Notes of pineapple, grapefruit pith, green hops, dank citrus.
T: The dank tropical citrus kind of pops out of nowhere. It's definitely a juicy beer.
M: Hops are very prickly to the tongue. As they are very much present in the beer. Mild bitterness with moderate carbonation.
O: Another really good Foam beer. These guys are on their A game!!

Bottle Date: growler 10/15/16
Palate Contaminants: none

Appearance is a milky straw color with not much head.

From a foot away, I'm getting peaches and pears. Closer up, it's even more intense. There's a little fresh moss, as well. The sweet fruit doesn't leave much room for anything else, but it's great.

The taste has the same fruits, but the pear is a little stronger. There's a some bitter, as well as the slightest amount of sour. A little onion, a little grape leaf. There's definitely some citrus flavor, mostly grapefruit, along with some mandarin orange. Some cantaloupe and melon in there, too.

The feel is almost straight down the middle of the fairway. Medium body, medium carbonation, aftertaste is both bitter and sweet, but not bittersweet. Longer-term lingering taste is white grapefruit.

The appearance was a cloudy yellow color with a quarter finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated fairly nice. Not much lacing. The aroma had some sweet tangerine pulp with it’s rind, somewhat coming through in some bitter portions. Light pine/sprucy freshness. The flavor was juicy bittersweet popping the sprucy freshness through into the glow of it all. Nice aftertaste of juicy bittersweetness. Full throttles itself into the finish. The feel was about medium bodied with a good carbonation about it. ABV felt spot on. Loaded with pure bittersweet smooth to abrasive quality fully coming across my tongue just as I wanted. Overall, very nice AIPA that I would love to have again in that New England style that everyone is going nuts about.
