Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a stiff golden orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off very slowly. Some messy lace covered in and all around the glass, somewhat messy, and spotty.
The aroma had some juicy candied orange pulpy to rind-like bitter qualities weaving around some lemongrass, grass and a playful clean white cracker malt.
The flavor was pretty much the same pulling the sweet to the bitter and amplifying in a positive way to fulfill a super smooth aftertaste of the same.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt appropriate, somewhat low. ABV was 11%? I didn't think it felt like that at all, seemed much lower. I guess it hid it's alcohol very well.
Overall, very nicely done DIPA that I would love to have again.

Different from their other beers. Much higher ABV and not quite as hazy. Golden orange with slight haze to this one and a medium white head. Smells juicy like a candied sweet orange rind. Taste follows as well but isn't as sweet, boozy, or hot as you'd expect for an IPA with this appearance. Very juicy. Mild warming character as you swallow but not harsh like most IPAs in this range. Very nice. Not my go to but can't think of another IPA in this alcohol range I would prefer.
