Notes: A single IPA, dry hopped with generous portions of Denali, Vic secret and Azacca. With enormous citrus and tropical aroma, this beer puts forth tasting notes of tangerine, pineapple and creamsicle. We took our first sip of this one and had no other words… we thought, damn, this is yummy

I love the zippy citrus in Dead Wax...and the mouthfeel is very smooth/lightly effervescent...just the right easy note of malt to give this a bitty heft...satisfying and if this where July and not January 4 I’d say this is a kickass summer brew. Foam kills it beer after beer!

it really is amazing how many things these guys do well, this was a joy to sip on, an ultra modern hazy ipa that is both dry hopped to oblivion but also exceedingly well refined, this is what i pretty much always want a hazy to be, and it was rad to get to drink it on tap. really yellow in the glass, a sunny glow to it, over an inch of foamy white head, lace in the wake of each sip, not thick or heavy at all, just more unfiltered looking, cleaner than so many. the nose is awesome, i recognize the vics secret hops, the others maybe less familiar here, navel orange and key lime zest, honeydew, and honeycomb, even though this doesnt present as sweet at all, simple dry grain bill on it i reckon, clean ferment with just a little bready character there, and a juicy freshness that really defines it for me. orange jelly beans, crushed pineapple, kiwi fruit, even light mango, a tad herbal too and green there, but not in that bitey overdosed way, not at all, this is the opposite, super refined and light, the hops are juicy and exotic, an awesome combination, they taste as good and as fresh and as bold as they smell, and the light grain base is all that is needed for this to be balanced almost like a new school pale ale, no bitterness at all here, a dry no linger finish, and explosive carbonation. pillowy and approachable, this is the future of ipa (i hope)!

Appearance: Hazed body, yellow-hued with a white (medium-size) head.

Smell: Pureed pineapple fruitiness chased by a spritz of tangy-scented, oil-glistening citruses and fresh-cut florals atop a coarse grainy element.

Taste: An orange-leaning blend of citrus fruits with an additional jolt of stern grapefruit juice. Notes of melon, pineapple, florals. Schtew of raw grains aid in a creamy tone and texture. Rock candy sweetness. Minimally bitter. Tangy and acidic into the tropical finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body with some creamy yet oily touches to the mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Pleasant. Good citrusy, tropical hop character with ample raw grain character without veering into gloopy, gummy territory.

Big, bubbly head over three fingers high, clean white, dimpled surface, lacing very splotchy. While the liquid is fully hazy the hue is a very bright and light yellow. Fresh nose of lemon zest, just cut grass, saline, and dried bread crust, not lean per se but each element stays focused and on point, paucity of pineapple, apricot pit, kiwi fruit scents, just not finding much to revel in. Medium-bodied, solidly carbonated, steady churn to it. Dry texture but not painfully so, just lacks inherent juiciness. features lemon to white grapefruit citrus and that saline touch all but to the exclusion of most all. Slight elevation in the peach, nectarine, pineapple fruit here. No discernible dankness but florality does accrue after a few sips. Nice length through the finish with minimal aftertaste, just carbonated reverb. Not horrible nor flawed yet at the same time not to my personal taste. (Canned 9/23/21)

Had a single can from Stowe Publik House as part of a mixed four-pack. My second brew from these guys. This did not live up to the hype for me, too pungent

On tap at Foam Brewers in Burlington, VT.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like orange creamsicle, grapefruit, pineapple, melon, and tangerine.

I love the 6.8% ABV on this one - it feels clean, juicy, and very crisp because of that. It's super citrusy, with indeed all of the various fruits that they mention in the description above.

This is creamy, and much richer than the ABV would suggest, with a really nice drinkability.

This is definitely one of the better Foam IPAs that I've had so far.

ONE PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass

This beer pours yellow and turbid. It is topped with a couple inches of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.

The aroma is pretty tame. I struggle to get some melon notes along with light citrus and tropical fruit.

Luckily the flavor is easier to discern. I get citrus and melon. There are some dank flavors. Grapefruit in the finish.

Medium bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel

It's a solid beer. I don't find anything spectacular about it.

Cloudy pale yellow with two fat fingers of dense, yellowed, sea-foam head. Good retention gives way to soapy lacing.

Strong pineapple, a touch of peach and light grapefruit rind in the nose.

Pineapple again up front in the taste, a mix of juice and rind, coupled here with a strong grassy, herbal bitterness. Maybe some juniper? And just a hint of orange citrus.

Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation.

Tasty balance of sweetness and herbal bitterness.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Hazy bright light golden pour with big fluffy white head. Excellent lacing.

S: Grapefruit rind and citrus. Tangerine and pineapple.

T.F: Light crackery grains, grapefruit rind, orange/tangerine, and tropical fruit. Papaya and pineapple. Medium bodied and smooth/sticky mouthfeel. Gentle carbonation... modest bitterness... more citrus punch to finish.

O: A really well done NEIPA, and pretty crushable at 6.8%. Not my favorite Foam IPA but still a damned good beer.

16oz can dated 8/19/20.

Pours cloudy yellow with a half inch head of white. Moderate retention with thin ropes of lacing. Pineapple, peach, tangerine, and melon in the nose. Finishes fairly dry with lingering juicy citrus, and minimal malt or bitterness.

Canned 6 days ago.

L -- Hazy straw-orange body with two fingers of solid white head produced with moderate pour. Some retention and good lacing
S -- Very pale malt bready sweetness, orange zest, sweet floral, hint of fresh pine resin, apricot
T -- White peach, clementine, lightly sweet pale malts, bubblegum, zippy pine, white pepper spiciness from the yeast
F -- Very soft and fluffy with a super restrained bitterness on the finish. This is Tree House levels of fluffiness and drinkability
O -- Another solid offering in the Foam roster. Great for the folks who "don't really like IPAs"

I gotta admit, the label was confusing at first. Canned 5/14/20. Pours a hazy whitish-blonde hue with amber streaks and a frothy head that leaves lacing on the edges. Juicy pineapple and mango pop out on the nose. Pineapple and guava to be more accurate with a touch of biscuit-y malt. Mouthfeel is sweet and ready with lingering hop essences. Finally glad to try this from Foam. I really haven't been paying enough attention to them lately.

16 oz. can.
Canned 05/14/20.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch near white head over a murky, light golden body with some lacing. Nose of tropical fruit and all kinds of citrus. Taste follows nose closely with the tropical fruit giving way to the citrus. Pretty smooth and finishing with a bit of citrus pith. Good feel and overall, another Foam offering that will make the hazybois happy. Cheers to them for this!
