Very nice brewery on the Burlington waterfront with views of Lake Champlain. Staff is super nice, and this is a good venue to take kids to as well. Great outdoor socially distanced space as well for COVID times.

Cool little spot. Saturday in November and it was jammed the whole time- would like a deeper tap list and more indoor space but would definitely stop there again.

Visited this with outstanding brewery my wife in the fall of 2019. If you are anywhere near Burlington, you have to come. You can sit on the patio with your pup's with the view of lake. The beers are a outstanding. Service is equal. They have food but we did not eat.

Beautiful location basically right on the lake close to down town Burlington. 2 outdoor seating areas, one in the back and one in the front (lake side) with seating options inside. The lay out of the place has a both 'old school' feel to while also showcasing more modern artwork and decorations. The outdoor seating on the lake side is plentiful and very scenic especially in the summer. Service was pretty straight forward, you go up to the bar and order your drinks and food if you want. Nothing fancy there. Selection was predominantly New England style IPAs with a couple of sours and a stout in there (there was probably 10-15 beers on draft available). The bar for the outdoor patio does serve some different beers than the bar inside so you want to check availability of beer at both. I didn't get any food while there so no comment on that.

Overall, this is one of the nicest locations for a brewery with beautiful outdoor scenery (with plenty of seating) and very good offerings in the NE IPA style. I will definitely look to come back here again.

A fairly small, nicely decorated taproom/package shop in a nice location close to the lake. They have their beers on tap and in cans, etc. as well as some outdoor seating, shirts and what have you and all the other accoutrements one would expect from a newer taproom on a place like Burlington making good beer. Everything is just so and despite the fact that I was there on a day when they were having an event that made it much less comfortable/welcoming than it ordinarily would be, I liked it and hope to come back in the future.

I like the atmosphere more than their beer. Inside or out, hanging out in Burlington is always a nice experience. The beer is good but it doesn't stand out for me. I've been a a handful of times as it's a nice place to hang out.

First stop on Vermont Beer Safari. Easy to find ad park... looking out at Lake Champlain. Really cool modern interior. Big beautiful bar; plenty of tables; live music/DJ set up. Nice little swag area. Good lively local / college crowd. But also everyone seemed beer knowledgeable. Place felt young; vibrant and very friendly. Servers (Jackson in particular) were great; helpful and had great beer advice. Good ops to try multiple beers side by side to guide choices. Was even able to split a 16oz can of Bonus Track 10 (not available that night on draft) with others at bar so all could each try a good 3oz pour. Lot of fun; and made our part of the bar a blast. Everything and everyone seemed proud of the beers but also that all had fun while trying many beers. Just a great place.

Foam is tucked back in the opposite corner of where the Skinny Pancake is in Burlington. The building is really nice on the inside and out. The had a good assortment of beers on tap. The service was very good. They had some live musical entertainment that wasn't deafeningly loud but sounded just right for the size of their taproom. It's a cool spot though and I would gladly go back in the future.

If you are heading to Burlington, Vt. this a definite place must visit place.

By the waterfront in downtown, very pleasant atmosphere both inside and in the outdoor space.

Most importantly this place is cranking out the most fresh/tasty/interesting brews in town. On tap and in cans to go.

Well worth a visit if you are visiting or a local ...no time for me to check out the food

Very nice place in Burlington, VT down near the shore of Lake Champlain with a reputation for great beer. There was a line of about 30 people when then opened up, which means you know its good. The inside filled up quickly. Most people were there to have a drink while only a few were there to take some home. They started canning recently, which is a plus, but I wish they would expand their canning availability a bit.
Definitely a place to stop in at if you're in the area.

A nice place tucked down by the lake. Great beers available, a nice selection of shwag and other goodies.

Place is smallish but gets big crowds. There was live music there when I was in and although I liked it, it was quite loud. Service was adequate, not a lot of conversation, but prompt and polite.

The reason to visit is for the beer in the end, all else is details

Visited July 2017, great place. Walking in I loved the hop/malt smell, pow, right in the face. But, after all you are withen 5-10 feet of the brew kettles. Had one of the meat/cheese boards, very good. The wife isn't a craft/hop beer person at all but found the ciders very good. We'll be back!

Through the shit show that is Burlington at this hour; UVM, farmers market Saturday, and pre-Hop Jam, and down the hill we go. Look lovingly upon Muddy Waters as we passed her by, and still more hill to go. Down by the water, across the street from that park where we did the VT Brewers Festival with T&P pouring for Heavyweight back in ’05 before BCTC took over my mid to late summer’s jam. Should be overrun with kids and beer people but we found it quiet just after noon…

Some old building space renovated nicely. Big brick with rounded and diagonal patterns, large vertical windows paneled with amoeba cut outs in them. Doorways, front, side, & rear. Where do they go, I wonder? Concrete floorings & wood plank ceilings, rafter beams & large pillar uprights. Track mini spots, colored spots on the corner, ductwork & piping. 7 barrel system over there in the corner. Malt sacks, a flag, framed prints, and potted plants about.

Crazy curvy swirly shaped pebbled concrete topped bar with glow lit amoeba shaped inlays and a (debated riveted vs. screwed) panel base; seating for 18 on hightop chairs, my feet tucked in their rungs. Barback holds a panel with 20 cool crafted copper handled taps in 2 rows of 8 each and a 4 in between. Glassware dangle racks to both sides on a turquoise & rust panel wall, and a side lit wavy ‘FOAM’ logo atop. I will sit here and take things in, as I inclined to do.

Three curved hightops, this way, that way, and this way again, pushed together for the wave length; seating for a dozen there + on high backed chairs and squared stools. 3 shorty tables butting up on a small raised space stage (Witzel says he cannot do standup comedy without a full brick wall backing. On this point he is inflexible), and 3 amoeba tables over my shoulder, and another shorty over there (me, pointing).

Food, what? Little prep area in the corner where the magic happens. Let us speak of cheese and charcuterie, please. The small combo slate is the play; 2 cheeses (Ciresa Taleggio & Shelburne Farms 2 year extra sharp cheddar), a salumi (Salumeria Biellese Sopressata Piccante), the accoutrements (olive oiled up Marcona almonds, cornichons, & dried apricots), and freeeeeeesh baked August first bread. I believe it was Sophocles who said ‘Nom Nom Nom!’

A dozen tables, shorts and rounds outside on gravel; some umbrella’d and/or amoeba seated penned with baby strung lighting. Great chill lighting and views of the Lake Champy.

Beer menu lists name, style, ABV, & descriptor words that are not surprisingly accurate. 6 beers on tap at present as Pavement DIPA, 8.2%, had selfishly kicked prior to arrival (Disco Lemonade, tart wheat, 4.2%, citrusy, lemon, pucker tart; Freak Incident, Brett Saison, 5.4%, bretty goodness, true; Lupi Fresh, IPA, 6.5%, dank, pine, face bracing bitterness; The Nameless, IPA, 7%, pine, deep tropical fruit; Circa Now, dry hopped Saison, 7%, Belgian hoppy forward; Built to Spill, Double IPA, 8%, murky, fruit) + Unified Press Citizen Cider & Death Before Decaf nitro cold press coffee. Lupi Fresh, The Nameless, & Built to Spill were the best of ‘em but there were no clunkers in the lot. I mean, goddamn.

$5-$6 for an 8oz glass, $7-$8 for a 12oz glass, and $10-$12 for a 750 growler. Somehow I find myself mulling around VT without a box of mix & match empty growlers in the car (idiot!) so, as new 750 growls are $3, I will get 2 of them and have beer put inside.

Next time back saw a few House of Ferm sours on. Oofta! Spoke with Todd some and once I put it together that he was ‘that Todd’, told the tale of that time back in ’03, when he and Matty O were still Magic Hatting and came down to the city for an event at the old Blind Tiger, and we nearly,… well, that’s for another time. Good hang when the kids don’t over run it, the beers are very goddamn good, that cheese & meat plate just perfect, and thank you for all the Wilco.

Right outside the center of lively Burlington situated along the waterfront. I was there on a perfectly warm Fall day and the city was teeming with activity.

Great walk to the brewery along the beautiful waterfront park. Showed up right at opening so there were only a handful of people. Punk rock coming from the speakers, long bar stretched around towards the left, small section straight ahead for purchases. I lucked into leftover four packs from the previous day’s release.

Nice staff; received a sample of their wild ale Crescent Ship which was damn tasty. Bummed that no bottles were available for purchase.

Small food station outside manned by a couple churning out modern twists on bar food. Great vibe, chill and excellent surroundings.

Will be curious to see how the waterfront area evolves. As Burlington builds up I’m sure there will be a greater appetite to use some of the open space around the brewery, including the ground-level parking lot, i.e. Portland, ME. Should be enjoyed while it’s there.

Foam is an awesome place. Lots of seats to enjoy outside if the weather permits. I sat at the bar inside. Service was great. I got a cheese and sausage plate for dinner and it was excellent. But the beer - oh my god the beer. My new favorite brewery. I had 5 different outstanding 12oz. beers before I picked out a t-shirt, got 3 growler fills and headed for the door. This brewery will see me me at least once every year for years to come.

A great little spot just off the Burlington waterfront; a bustling inside as well as a small patio. Live music when I was there, very busy & yet servers were keeping up nicely. A ton of selection on tap & some very tasty food options as well. Hope to get there again some day!

My friends and I went to foam on Saturday afternoon/ evening. We are able to buy the day's bottle release without any problems. The staff was very friendly and super knowledgeable. Every question we had from beer to where to go next was answered. We had several different beers and the cheese platter. It was a great time. The location is perfect. Right where you want to be in Burlington, on the waterfront. Cheers!

Great little brewery with a nice gravel patio out front, comfortable seating, a second bar on the patio for busy times, and ample shade during the summer. Usually their own beers (which are great IPAs and sours) and sometimes some guest brews and ciders. Food is just cheese and charcuterie and grilled cheese, although for special events and on busy weekend there will be a food truck parked out front. Very convenient to the waterfront and any festivals going on there. Everyone is really friendly as well!

This is my new go-to spot in Burlington. The vibe here is amazing, both inside and out. The real charm is the large patio outside, so if you can visit during the summer, it's a bonus. All the beer was high quality, and included a nice variety of styles. Won't miss Foam on any future trips to Burlington.

Very nice location with a view of Lake Champlain. Great laid-back vibe. The place looks great with that brand new foeder in the back. I found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. Service was really fast as well(I should mention that it was a tuesday night though).
The guy behind the bar was very passionate about the place and beer in general which made it all the more enjoyable for a beer geek like myself.
The only downside, it closes at 10pm on weekdays.

I'll make sure to visit again when I'm back in Burlington.

Amazing location! right on the lake in the heart of Burlington. the brews are pretty special too. super hazy, hoppy goodness. the actual brewery is pretty small and when crowded it took a while to get a beer, but it was worth it. They have a very small outside area where you have more of a view of the parking lot than the lake, but it was still nice.
