Lager is made the world over, but Creemore Springs Premium Lager is one of a kind. In all our travels, we've never found another like it. From the start, we've fire-brewed our flagship beer to be unique. It’s always made with the best ingredients and a strict adherence to traditional brewing methods. It’s just different up here, and so is our lager.

Our unique lager has a brilliant copper colour, overtones of sweet caramel malt and an appealing, well-balanced floral hop character. It's fire-brewed using the best ingredients and our own spring water.

There was a time when this was one of my summer staples (and their UrBock was my winter beer).

They called it a Bohemian Pilsner, though I wonder if that has changed now that they actually offer a Pilsner? The style is certainly unique. I think it's more of a Munich Helles.

They use a German yeast, Czech hops & local malts. So I guess "American Pale Lager" is a reasonable descriptor.

Before the Molson take-over it was more coursely filtered, which allowed a little more flavour to come through (the draft in particular just doesn't have the same flavour).

A: Golden-bronze with a slightly off-white head. Thin ring of retention, slight lacing.

S: Metallic minerals, steelie, grassy, grainy bread & hints of toffee & fruit.

T: Steelie minerals, grassy, light toffee, bread & hints or fruit. Good bitterness.

M: Moderate body has a hint of residual sweetness, with a crisp finish.

D: Very drinkable.

Can purchased at Coca Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario.

This one pours a light golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells mildly floral, with some caramel malt and breadiness.

This is solid enough, but pretty unexciting overall. It’s mildly sweet, with a specter of hop flavor floating over the beer.

This is pretty crisp and clean, with a really nice drinkability.

This isn’t gonna rock anybody’s world, but it got the job done for the most part.

This is easily my favourite regular go to beer.
People will look at this score and think I'm mad but I've spent the last 35 years seeking out and trying just about every beer I can and as far as I'm concerned, for a regular go to, this has it all.
Great head, lacing, colour, smell, flavour, drinkability, and finish.
On a hot summer day it goes down easy and smooth in gulps, equally, it's well worth savouring over Thanksgiving dinner.
The brewery itself is a delight and the people kind, welcoming and knowledgeable.
Molson left them alone and I'm thankful for it.

I will give a proper review later. My all time favorite beer and only one I'll be giving a perfect 5 rating (probably).

I haven't had in awhile as I can no longer get the beer in my province, but this would be my go to store bought or poured beer when I lived in Toronto, Ontario. I can't properly review as I can still taste it in my memory, but will update when I go back for more! Nice copper color and a taste I yearn for from time to time.

Definitely try if available near you.

In store cans taste like nothing - very watery. This use to be one of my favourite beers in Canada. I had it in a restaurant recently on tap and it was pretty good. They told me about it being bought by Molson and grown. They assured me that Molson has not touched it and let them keep making it the same in Creemore, Ontario. The pint was great. Bought four tall boys at the LCBO over the holidays - drinking it now and it just tastes like all the macro brews that give beer a bad name. Since Molson bought them, the kegs might be from Creemore but the cans are mass produced like all the Molson products.
