Had on tap. Cloudy yellow appearance with a finger of white foam for the head, sporadic lacing. Big tropical and citrus nose with not much else behind it besides some mild hop bitters. True for taste too but here the hop bitters are a little green. Feel is bright and hazy with mild hops, yeast carries more than the malt, crushable and slightly dank. Ok, nothing special to seek out

Can. 5.8% ABV. Opaque gold with a thin bubbly head which recedes quite quickly.
Tropical fruits emanate from the surface. Mainly pineapple and mango.
The fruit continues when tasted with a moderate tart and astringent finish.
Middling carbonation and body.
Good to get this in the UK but unfortunately 3 months old.

Had this on tap. Lots of tropical and fruity aromas that include orange, mango and passion fruit. A little dank and it had a pretty dry finish. Very easy to drink and the fruit flavor was pretty fresh.

12oz can. Hazy pineapple juice looking body with a frothy off-white head. Tropical fruit and zesty citrus aroma. Zesty and tart flavors of passion fruit, pineapple, lemon, floral citrus, and pine; malt is mild but some nutty grain and oat comes through at the back of the palate. Medium body, moderate carbonation, tart, bitter, and dry finish. Delicious hazy APA. Perfect for the beach or poolside.

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at Half Day Brewing on August 14, 2019. Inspired by coastal culture, Palm Shade combines the tropical fruit hop aroma of a modern IPA with the deeply quenching drinkability of a pale ale. Subtle hop bitterness with vibrant notes of mandarin orange, mango and pineapple.

aside from the el train ipa, i really didnt love the hoppy beers we had in here, but maybe more because everything else seemed so interesting and inspired, and these hazy ones seemed sort of copycat, not to say this isnt good because it surely is, but it just didnt jump out at me like so many of the others they are making. this one is hazy but still brightly colored, and real lively in the glass. an aroma of mango and pineapple, it definitely is fruity, but it also has a little bit of that over hopped greenness to it, really one of the only flaws i encountered in any of their beer. i may have been hyper sensitive to it after having such well refined beer here, but it stood out to me. fortunately, its more in the aroma than the flavor, where things like peach and fresh citrus pop, and the hop bitterness does come in a little bit, keeping this in the ipa realm even though its really dry hop forward. my homie liked this a lot better than me, i will have to try it again on a less taxed palate, but i thought it was good not great. a little too green in the nose for me to be wowed, but id drink a pint for sure.

Hazy dull orange with dripping lace. Aroma is faint, caramel malt and some tangerine. Bruised cantaloupe. Thin and sweet with a ton of caramel malt. Not as tropical as i'd hoped.
