Pours a matte brownish orange color. Sludgy. Cloudy and completely opaque. Thin white head dissipates leaving a thin uneven layer of white velvety foam on top of the beer.

Aroma is pungent and fruity with notes of pineapple, peach, mango, orange and lots of lemongrass and grassy notes.

Taste follows the nose with notes of bitter grass, orange, pineapple, mango, melon, and peach with a slight vanilla tinged sweetness to it. On the back end there is some lingering bitterness, and some alcohol heat. Sweet bready malt backbone is noted.

Feel is light to medium bodied with a fizzy sprightly carbonation.

Overall this is a solid NE style IPA.

Tall can from the brewery in BKLYN. 11/19/18 stamped on the bottom.

Medium hazed, NEIPA look to this one, with a looser and medium bubble light khaki cap, leaving lower ringed lacing.

Melon, mango and berries on the nose.

Soft and super smooth in the mouth, more tropicals, with more melon, more pineapple. again berries...wonderful stuff...go get some of this nectar ASAP...fine brew from the fine people of Fifth Hammer

T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of orange citrus along with hints of grapefruit.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is both juicy and fruity, but not as much compared to others in the style.

A: Pours a murky medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate burnt orange + orange + golden yellow + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of very thin film coveirng approximately 85% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/orange, citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/melon, tropical/pineapple, and berry hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel malts with a slightly heavier than light amount of caramel sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel malts with a slightly heavier than light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly heavier than moderate flavors of juicy citrus/orange, citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/melon, tropical/pineapple, and berry hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering citrus + tropical hops flavors.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a moderate amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Enjoyable with juicy fruity hop flavors though not quite as intense as some of the others in the style. Refreshing.

really the only hoppy beer we had in here, and its pretty good, on trend and hazy, quite dense looking in the glass, with an awesome fresh aroma, heavy dry hop on this for sure, creamy frothy headed and fruity smelling, familiar but no less enticing. the flavor isnt quite as awesome as it smells. i get a huge blast of tropical hops in aroma, pineapple and melon and citrus, but in the flavor it breaks down into vegetal greenness about halfway through it, not unappealing, a common pitfall, its just not as well composed and dynamic in taste as it smells like it will be, but it still tastes really nice, tropical and orchard fruity to me, but dry when i drink it, some raw wheat and oats likely in the mash, this is starchy and proteiny and full to me, holds up all the hops really well. i dont mind a little greenness later, it almost substitutes for bitterness in this, but its a little too much, especially at the swallow. nice hop profile overall though, and i dont mind it being a little heavier this time of year, hearty and satisfying, incredibly fresh tasting, balanced in the new school sense of it, flavorful and good. in the end its a lot like what everyone else is doing with the style, and as such one of the less unique beers we had in here, but real well done overall...

On tap at Fifth Hammer, Queens, NY.
Pours a turbid orange color with a moderate foam head that dissipates.
The aroma is dominated by a complex bouquet of fruity hops. These include, strawberry, mango, pineapple, orange and peach.
The taste opens with a chewy and sweet doughy malt backbone coupled with juicy fruit. Fruit flavors align with aroma. Not bitter overall, however, the sweetness is soon balanced by fruity hops resin, a zesty sting from the citrus, and significant peppery hops spice.
Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Very hops forward flavor wise, with a combination of bright and zesty fruit and spicy hops.
Good example of the style and drinkable. (I had 2)
