Campus style layout, not as impressive as Sierra Nevada's satellite brewery, but way more conveniently located. Taproom building is large and open with windows on three sides a patio out front and a large deck overlooking the river in the back. ID check upon entry, they had separate lines for beer to go and beer to be consumed on premises. The lines were on the long side, and apparently NC law prohibits selling more than one beer at a time for on site consumption. A wide variety of beer on tap, the 2 VooDoo variants that I had were good. Gourmet grill cheese food truck was excellent, but I had expected a full blown brewpub type restaurant. Oh well... that' what assumptions will get you. Wold like to check the place out on a weekday when it's not as busy.

Great place to relax and enjoy an afternoon. Food trucks offer a unique selection of southern food. Good selction but not as varied as desired. Overall great time.

One of the best breweries I've visited, and I've visited countless breweries around the world. This brand-new facility let's you see the entire brewing process. Plus, free beer tastings! The staff is amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly love their jobs. The tour includes a fun slide and all sorts of information. The beers are numerous with even some limited edition brews on tap and even more for purchase at reasonable prices. The only downside is that they don't do many stouts or porters which are my favorite. But what they do, they do well! I will absolutely be going back for events and future tours.

I really didn't think I would like this place as much as I did. I was worried when the bigger boys started invading Asheville. I was wrong on this one. A great spot with a huge taproom next to their huge brewery. Tons of staples on tap, but a nice mix of harder to find beers as well. Bartenders were nice enough. They have a lot of bring home stuff and a lot of swag. Big parking lot.

Let me say upfront- I have not been a big New Belgium fan. That said I really enjoyed this place. Small relative to Sierra Nevada down the road, but they did not skimp on this place. Sat outside on the deck overlooking the river on a really nice day in October 2016.
Even though we sat on segregated tables we struck up great conversations with two different parties. Everyone was real nice.
I even liked the beers I had.

Great tour! Lots of background info on how NB started. Especially enjoyed the Fat Tire right off the production line.

Great service by the owners (employee owned) beautiful venue along the river.
