Poured from an undated 16oz. can to a Nonic.
Hazy yellow/gold body, medium plus frothy head that takes about 8 minutes but never goes to less than 1mm full coverage.
Grapefruit aroma turns to grapefruit rind taste. Not sure that's a good thing. Finish is lip puckering.
Mouthfeel is kind of light.
I sound harsh above, but I would definitely drink this (depending on other choices).

Pint on draft at Silly’s in Portland, Maine.

Appearance: A mostly clear yellow with no head. Some carbonation.

Aroma: Floral and fruity with some nice hops in the nose. Citrus. Clean grass.

Taste: Not super hoppy for an IPA, but has some nice bitter grapefruit and lemon notes. Maybe some orange rind. Some grain and malt backing. Crisp. Surprising booze at a modest ABV.

Mouthfeel: Very drinkable. Not a bitter bomb. Somewhat light, in fact.

Overall: Very nice, easy IPA. Nothing too wild, but a refreshing, crisp, flavorful IPA.

Served in a pub glass at Byrne's Irish Pub in Brunswick, Maine.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, brass color with a half inch head, good retention and solid rings of lacing all the way down the glass.
S: Aromas of navel orange and mango with a bit of a little floral note beyond the fruit.
T: Semisweet. Flavors of red grapefruit and rind, resin and light pine predominate. Light bitterness leads to a crisp, refreshing finish.
M: Light bodied and moderate carbonation.
O: An enjoyable, drinkable blend of contemporary fruity hops and a light, more traditional ECIPA.

Many thanks to SawDog505 for this can!

A - Light to medium golden yellow color with sticky white lacing, light carbonation. Very light haze.

S - Light barley grain aroma with light pungent citrus.

T - Pungent tropical fruit, red grapefruit, apricot, a little bit of tea, and a resiny piney bite at the very back end.

M - Medium body with soft texture.

O - This is a nice IPA and glad to have the opportunity to try this!

Poured into a 13 oz Tired Hands Teku glass canned recently, with in the month. Pours a very attractive clear yellow with a solid finger plus head that leaves plenty of patches of lace as it settles into a thin layer of white bubbles.

Smell is marijuana, tangerine, papaya, mango, pine resin, and grapefruit rind plenty of flavor for its ABV.

Taste follows hints of marijuana, papaya, tangerine, mango, pine, and grapefruit.

Mouthfeel is pretty darn big for its size, plenty of carbonation, a tad dry, and drinks bigger than you would expect.

Overall this is a very nice beer, but I am struggling with the price tag. $13.99 a 4 pack for this beer is a bit much in my opinion, but still a well made beer.

Pours a hazy golden yellow, appropriate white foam. Smells a little soapy. Pretty good flavor, some grapefruit. Again, a little soapy. Appropriate carbonation. Overall it is an ok beer, probably a bit past it's prime.

Pint can. > Imperial pint glass

A semi haze over burnt golden color with a smooth, clumpy and creamy, all white thick foam makes for a very nice hat. A bit of clumpy lacing comes and goes like the tide after the liquid recedes.

A sharp and herbal citrus aroma pops off the nose, sweet tropical fruit blend : banana, kiwi, tangy orange and a funky herbal zest. The Idaho 7 hops seem to give off a very unique zesty, herbal and citrus thing. Slightly sweet lightly toned malts are impressive.

A sharp edged, zesty bite hits first. A tasty combo of very crisp and sweet malt with a big, zesty, spicy citrus and tropical fruit thing makes it very interesting right off. Earthy pepper meets kiwi and grapefruit. Super clean, light and sharp mouthfeel is very zippy and refreshing. No long malt effects or chunky hazy hop feel. Just straight clean and easy. The Idaho 7 hop strain, dry hopped delivers a very dry, earthy effect with a mild bitternesd that really gets your attention.

Overall the flavor and effects are very interesting, relatively simple with decent complexity. The charm really is in the extra zesty and spicy dry hopped aftertaste.

From the 16 oz. can dated 12/4/17. Sampled on December 24, 2017.

It pours mostly golden with excellent clarity underneath a modest and lingering white foamy head. Lacing.

The aroma brings out a notable pineapple sensation with some white bread beneath it. Mildly sweet note.

The body falls into the medium range.

The taste loses a lot of that pineapple I was hoping for. Instead I get a tropical bitterness that lingers at the finish. Not bad but nothing out of the ordinary.

A- The tall can cascades into a chalice with a mostly clear pale yellow body and a two inch frothy white head. Good retention as the cap slowly falls to a tall pillow. Lacing is formed with several large sheets.

S- Fresh, bright and juicy hops burst out of the glass. Not the most pungent and distinct but a respectable mix of things like soft tangerine, mango, melon, massive floral herbal, berry, grapefruit and orange juice hops. Fades somewhat fast and becomes strongly floral with time.

T- Loses some steam and complexity in the hops here with things becoming a bit muddled and heavily in the grapefruit and floral realm. Small hints of tangerine, pine, dank herbs, melon and oranges. A bit of yeast influence with esters and spiciness which feels somewhat out of place.

MF- Medium overall body with a zesty and bubbly very high carbonation level and a slightly creamy texture which relieves just a bit of that bite. Ends with a strong floral, grspefruit zest bitterness.

The first few whiffs were rather promising but with time and warming some flaws are exposed with a straightforward hop profile and a bit of muddling from the ferment.

It's best to drink this beer at 40° as indicated on the can. This temp brings out the best flavor.

Pours a cloudy, golden copper color with a 3F head in a Spiegelau glass which resolves in minutes.

The aroma is floral, with some fruit.

Great taste: Fruit, earthy. tropical fruit.

Finish: Very spicy, bitter, pungent, well carbonated.

Excellent beer. Idaho hops are new, and bring more character to IPAs. I can recall only one other beer I've tasted with Idaho hops. I like the bitterness, spiciness, the carbonation, and the floral character. I will look for more of their beers.

Pours a slightly cloudy deep golden orange ,two finger head

Smell is slight pine , some citrus notes and biscuits

Taste follows the nose with soft pine notes , slight citrus , fresh baked biscuits some tropical aspects but only slight if that ..

Overall : A clean crisp IPA with enough going on to keep your interest. Not mind blowing but solid ..

Poured from a can into a large goblet. Slightly hazy copper colar with a thin but long-lasty ivory head. Not much of a nose. Some bread and passion fruit. Taste is some modest malt up front with a juicy hoppy finish: tropical fruit---passion fruit and mango---and some nice pine. A lingering finish that is a nice mix of mildly bitter hops and persistent passionfruit. Mouthfeel is good; it's well carbonated and not at all heavy. Overall a nice IPA. A big, but balanced, tropical fruit profile. Definitely the best beer I've had from Mason's so far. (Also, I know this isn't relevant, but I really like the artwork on the can.)

Pours a clear gold color. Nice spongy 2 finger head, plenty of effervescence. Fairly weak sweet tropical aroma with notes of mango and guava with a little breadiness to it.. Taste follows smell. Some citrus and pine there too. Feel is thin on malt and sweet. low to moderate bitter. Overall a pretty good take on the hazy IPA. Hop flavor is a little muddled for me but enjoyable as a whole.

16oz can dated 4/11/17.

Pours clear gold with light haze and a big, spongy head. Loads of tattered lacing and substantial retention. Aromatics lead off with tangerine zest and lemongrass. Spicy, fruity, and earthy. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. The palate starts with plenty of spicy, peppery, pithy hops. Lemon-rubbed grapefruit with some building bitterness and cut grass. Zero malt and very dry. Finishes with a heavy-handed bitterness and lingering citrus pith.

An interesting beer. The Idaho 7 hops would work well in a Saison.

On draft at the brewery. Pours orange with a white head and a slight haze. Smell is heavy on the citrus, think orange rind, and pine. Flavor is huge on the citrus with a present pine and orange pith bitterness on the finish. Feel is pretty good, smooth, and very drinkable. Overall, really nice single hop IPA that showcases the Idaho 7 hop in a drinkable format.
