Pretty off tasting. Like a bad Belgian tripel

From the 12 fl. oz. can. Sampled on December 29, 2017.

The pour is a milky looking pale yellow-orange under a long lasting white foamy head. Maybe some sediment.

The aroma emits a big character of floral and spicy hops and a lower character of sweet white bread.

Medium to full body.

The taste has a semi-sweet malt note that is immediately usurped by the floral hop bitterness that fills up at the end. Enjoyable.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 11/30/17. Pours a very attractive cloudy orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves big thick rings of lace.

Smell is guava, apricot, tangerine, pine resin, and grapefruit rind.

Taste follows very tropical upfront with a healthy dose of piny grapefruit in the long lingering finish.

Mouthfeel is above medium, plenty of life, not dry but a tad sticky, and drinks easy but has a ton of flavor.

Overall this is a very nice DIPA, really a great balance from East and West, well worth purchasing if you see it.

Golden, slightly hazy, fluffy cap of foam. Aroma is pungent citrus and resin. Flavors are super juicy with citrus and stone fruits. Not as much malt/breadiness as I enjoy most, but it's there - a faint biscuit in the background. Excellent hop profile makes this very tasty. Somewhat dry finish makes me take another sip, and repeat. Nice.

Sample from the Thirsty Moose Manchester
Hazy light gold in color with a thin white head. Rich bready caramel maltiness with bits of resin and pine with hints of fruity citrus to counter. Tasty beer but a hint too sweet for my tastes.

Snagged a 16oz can from The Beer Store (Nashua) recently. Digging in while catching some NFL football.

Poured into a snifter, it's a clear, medium golden color. Doesn't have much carbo, but the head is nice - a healthy dollop of fluffy white foam, with excellent lacing. Aroma is just about all hops, with grapefruit, pineapple and rindy, pithy notes. Has a nice feel, with a medium body.

Taste is light on malt and sweetness, with a healthy amount of citrus and bitterness. Like the aroma, it has plenty of grapefruit. Also thrown in are rindy, pithy lemonpeel, melon, green apple and a smidge of tangerine. It has a very dry, chalky finish. A bit too heavy on the bitterness for me. Don't get me wrong, I love hops, but I like a bit of sweetness to balance things out. A well-made brew, but not one I'd seek out. Prosit!
