A great mid-sized bottle shop near Fenway Park. Although I've only been a few times on return visits home, the people here know their stuff and the selection is well-curated and solid. As a bonus, they seem to host tastings with some frequency.

Owners and staff are fantastic, selection very expansive. Only gripe is the steep pricing but considering the area and amount of distributors represented, it makes sense. That being said there are some very outdated hops on the shelf here... do not buy the Knee Deep bombers without checking dates.

It's great to see Craft Beer Cellar come to downtown Boston. While the store is small compared to ones set in the suburbs, it packs an impressive punch. There are hundreds (perhaps more than a thousand) different beers.

The staff is friendly. Each time I've gone at least two people have asked me if they could help. Even when I said no, they still struck up a friendly conversation about my preferences and breweries I prefer.

My only complaint (tongue firmly in cheek) is that I need to walk two miles to get home which limits the number of beers I can buy.

Great regular selection for most styles. They get some gems in occasionally (MBCP, Pirate Bomb one time, Sip of Sunshine every couple weeks as of Feb '17). Would have to say that they have one of the best selections in Boston, maybe only second to Fort Point Market. It's a shame that Trillium doesn't distribute much any more as they used to have a regular stock.

The staff is very helpful with recommendations if you want to try something new.

It's also worth noting that if you buy craft beer regularly, you can start a tally in your name and every time you reach $250, you get a small CBC gift card - which I'm guessing is a regular CBC thing. I think it's only $5-10, but still a nice perk if you're buying regularly anyways.

They also will take holds via phone for customers that will pick up same day which is great when you're at work and really really want a bottle of whatever they just got in.

Great location and really cool set-up. Lots of beer options to choose from and staff is really helpful and staff are really nice. A bonus is being able to get Trillium without traveling to the Seaport/waiting in line. Owners are especially friendly/helpful - have been really great to work with when ordering kegs and/or finding special beers. They even have a small section for local spirits and wine! Definitely worth making it a regular stop.

Great selection (steady stream of Trillium!), awesome location and exceedingly helpful and passionate owners and staff. What more could you ask for? Also, follow them on social media because they are definitely the place to go for special releases!

The best beer shop in Boston. Be sure to chat up the owners, great people.

If it's a good beer and it's distributed in Eastern MA, it'll be at CBC Fenway. Lots of IPAs kept cold in the fridges.

Shop for some good brews at CBC, then head across the street and get some good beers on draft at the Yard House.
