Thanks to rudzud, 2017
Light fizzy head, no retention or lacing, murky bright orange peach color

Nose base tripel with big souring funk, bacteria, maybe Brett, little lemony, Brett funk little barnyard, little winey vinous more, and touch buttery vanilla oak, very buttery, little biscuity thing too

Taste starts with sour funk, big bacteria souring and Brett funk, little barnyard late, earthy cheesy funk notes, more wine barrel, vinous white wine and buttery oak, little lemon and apple fruits, base wheaty biscuit malt note, fair acidity, little tannic cheap wine finish also flemmy

Mouth is med to lighter bod, little viscous sour flemmy thing and perfumey alcohol notes, decent carb

Overall not bad, nice souring, could use some improvements, but nice

Received as an extra in a trade and shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy golden orange hue with a thin wispy head that fades to leave even lighter wisps.

S - Aromas of bretty funk, light wild flower honey, faint faint wine barrel, almost buttery. Base beer is a bit subdued.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice faint malts, little apples, nice tartness, solid funk. Decent amount of white wine notes but they come off as a cheap wine flavour.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated with a bit of a harsher phenolic alcohol on the finish.

O - Overall this was a rather underwhelming beer. The funk was quite nice, however, the wine came across as cheap and the alcohol was a bit harsh.

A: Golden, transparent, honey
S: Grape, white wine, honey, musty, phenol esters, spice, apple, hint of banana
T: Green grape, honey, earthy Brett, hay, underlying tart lemon acidity, sweet malt, mead, peach, apricot, pineapple
M: A little heavier due to the base beer
O: Very complex and a notch above some Allagash beers that it reminds me of. Flavors and aroma keeps evolving

White head. Burnt golden orange.

Brett funk. Sour, dry. Grapes and tannins. Wine like. Some tartness. Very complex. I was surprised by this one. Pretty drinkable.

Look - hazy yellow
Smell - like Belgian beers
Taste - really great for a heavy sour
Feel - I don't get this category. It feels great.

This is a great heavy wild semi-sour ale.

On tap at Mongoose vs Cobra in Houston.

Good shit.

On tap at Petrol Station. A kind of mix of various brewing techniques, and barrel aging with WT3F, which in and of itself is a hybrid. Really interesting to say the least.

A: Pours a beautifully hazed golden/orange color. At first a two finger white head forms and recedes in a second. Light lace. Love the color, and has the look of champagne.
S: An amazing aroma. Tart, juicy fruits galore. Peach, passion fruits, a bit of acidity and musky, basement like funk. The nose is huge, and while sitting outside, filled the entire table with the aroma. I can just plant my nose in the glass all day.
T: Like the nose, up front is an incredible juicy, and tart fruit flavor. A tart and acidic fruit punch. Peach and fleshy passion fruit, even mango, etc. Almost cider like. Lingering is a musky funk, like a basement cellar. Love it.
M/D: A medium body, with excellent carbonation. Crisp and refreshing, almost tannin like with the fleshy fruit flavors. So enjoyable to drink. I just can't get enough.

This is like an acidic fruit punch, mixed with a cider. An incredible mouthfeel, and just superb to drink. Real Ale is amazing, and this is a reason why. They can do stuff like the Brewers Cut Kolsch and California Common, and amazing experiments like this. Which is more than just unique, for the sake of being unique, but all around excellent.

On tap

A- Pours a hazy apricot colored, with a small white head

S- Horseblanket and barnyard aromas, wrapped with fruity esters

T- Apricot and tart dominate the pallet, followed by a mild hop bitterness.

M- Prickly and well carbonated with a dry finish.

O- A decent sour, I don't think it is too extreme in the tart department. I think this was well crafted, however, wild ales do not really mark my fancy like stouts do.
