Gose is a rarely brewed regional specialty beer from Northern Germany. A slightly sour wheat beer, it's known for hints of coriander and a unique saltiness that is derived from the local water source. As a twist on the original, we add fresh lime juice to our version after fermentation. The result is a delightfully tart and refreshing beer to help you slug it out with even the hottest of Texas summers.

Appearance - Pours clear light yellow color with thin white head that quickly dissipates.

Aroma - Just a ton of lime, it reminds me of alka seltzer. Light lemon citrus and a touch of wheat.

Taste - Nice soft tart lime flavor, pretty salty and tart.

Feel - At first it is light and crisp but the finish is soft, really odd but it works.

Overall - Not a bad beer not sure I would think it was a gose but the flavors are nice.

A super refreshing gose that is pleasantly salty without overdoing it. Hazy yellow, smells like lemon/lime pie. Soft mouthfeel with a little tartness. The touch of sweet and tart of the lime makes this great with spicy food on hot days.

not sure if the lime is a special edition or an all time time thing in their gose, but the one we had said lime gose right on the can. its a nice beer, maybe a little perfumey and overdone on the lime, but it smells and tastes natural enough, just real intense as they go, far more than an accent flavor but a real driver of the whole thing. still, its real light and refreshing, and one for lime lovers for sure. the salt is nice in here, gives some good balance and body, and seems to cut the lime off right at the moment where it threatens to become too much. i think the lacto sour element is really nice too, super clean and at a similar frequency to the natural acidity of the lime. more zest than juice or flesh to me, but its well assimilated into the wheat malt base, and the floral dry coriander is a nice touch too, well balanced and layered for a lighter beer like this. if they scaled the lime back even 10% this would be a much more drinkable and refreshing beer for me, but i still like it. the quality is high and the flavor is good, a three sip can in the texas summer heat!

Pours out a cloudy yellow. Head is white with little retention and no lacing. Carbonation is abundant.
The nose is very lemony with hints of wheat. Mostly lemon.
Taste is lemon sour and a bit salty with faint grains. Refreshing but one dimensional.
Mouthfeel is crisp and clean with nice carbonation.

This is my favorite all time tubing central Texas rivers beer of all time. They go down so easy. You can get carried away very quickly with this one. Grab as many as you can when you see them because they are seasonal. My only complaint is this Gose makes you gassy. Dont know why but it does every time.
