Notes from 5/24/2020.
Poured from a 12oz can into a Rastal nucleated Teku glass.
The body is clear gold with 2 fingers of white head. Retention is average leaving a cap.
The intensity of aroma is medium. There are notes of biscuit, grass, and Noble hops.
The intensity of taste is slightly above medium. The flavor has sweet Pilsner malt, grass, and a green hop bitter finish that's slightly below medium-high. It has more flavor and more bitterness than most German Pilsners.
The feel is slightly above medium in thickness. The carbonation is low, and it has an astringency level that's slightly above medium. It's too astringent.
Overall, the extra bitterness and excess of astringency for the style brings it down to being okay. For a Texas summer release, I prefer Saint Arnold Summer Pils.

What a great name for a Pils!
Pours a pale golden color with a thick white head.
Clean and crisp with a subtle sweetness. I like it!

Vibrant yellow color, with thick white head leaving light lacing on glass. Beer is clear and well-carbonated.

Very nice malt smell, with some grassy hop bitterness.

It has a crispness to it that is well-appreciated. Hoppier than many pilsners, the malt takes a slight backseat but not it a bad way.

Light-bodied, with a dry finish.

A truly enjoyable, if not special. I’ve had it numerous times and it’s truly my go-to pils.

12oz bottle with a best by date of 7-24-21. Opened 3-5-21.
1+ finger white head, very good retention. Slowly falls and settles in as a solid cap.
Clear, clean straw golden with ample and active carbonation. Clingy lacing.
Sulfur, hay/grass, soft clay/dough maltiness.
Dough and grassy, hop spice. Clean, simple and tasty.
Light body, medium + carbonation and a almost crisp mouthfeel...slight sweetness in the finish.
Good drinkability.
Very Good.

L: Pours a very clear light gold with a two finger white head with good retention.
S: Smells bready upfront, has some floral hop notes, sweet grain maltiness.
T: This actually has more of a hoppy bitterness than most pilsner's I have tried, but it doesn't dominate; still floral hops. Has a bit of a sulfur aftertaste. Not tasting much malts.
F: Light-bodied, clean & crisp.
O: Worth the try, but there are much better beers of this style out there.
