Look: slightly hazy straw gold with decwnt head and some lacing
Smell: pretty classic pilsner smells - cereal with some grassy herbal hops
Taste: Full flavored with moderate maltiness and a nice herbal grassy hops kick in the finish. Classic German pilsner flavors.
Feel: Light, spritely carbonation

Overall: classic full flavored german pilsner. Nice balance with a solid hops bite. Flavors were slightly coarser as it warmed but still a great pilsner

I almost never like Pilsners. But I truly love this Pilsner. Perfect balance between a clean taste and an interesting taste. Effervescent and intriguing.

Very nice bite, but a bit on the bitter side—the latter somewhat overwhelming the pleasant, pungent, stocky, dried-hay fruitiness imparted by the pils malts (a characteristic that I find to be fairly desideratum in a good pilsner). The aromas are definitely on-point: doubling-down on the hay qualities, there are also some good peach, grape, and pear notes, along with a bit of yeasty booziness; the appearance is likewise fit-to-form, with a minor haze, a nice straw refulgence that flashes to milky-gold when held to light, and a pretty feverish effervescence that lends a moderate head that peters but laces well. The carbonation likewise imparts more crispness, amplifying those already provided by the dry malts and aggressive (for a pilsner, at least) hop-bittering.

All in all, a pretty good pilsner, though an iteration that's not quite as refreshing, light in the mouth, or clean, due to sticky bitters. In some senses, Hans' Pils belongs more to the paradigm of highly hop-perfumed imperial pilsners, except without the robust, denser, higher-proof skeletons that allow those to carry their weight more gracefully.
