Notes:
EUREKA and MOSAIC hops create a complex cornucopia of stone fruit and berry flavors but also very earthy and dank.

16oz can purchased at the brewery. Pours a hazy brownish dark orange with an inch of head. Minimal lacing. Aromas of peach, berries, orange and guava. The taste is orange peel, banana, grapefruit, herbal/spicy hops, toasted bread and pine. More herbal hops and pepper at the finish with some lemon peel. Medium body with low carbonation.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 3/2019. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, blueberry, black currant, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, blueberry, black currant, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, blueberry, black currant, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; light lingering hop astringency through the glass, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is good. A bit too resinous/drying than expected. Minimal warming 7.5%, with lightly increasing hop burn through the glass after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding NEIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, despite the increasingly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Awesome Eureka/Mosaic profile. Extremely juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a great wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and well made style example otherwise.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left some small patches of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of peach, pine, and stone fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of stone fruit and pine and has hints of orange citrus. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The pine lends a bit of "bite" to the mouthfeel.
O: I liked how this beer incorporated the aromas and flavors of pine, which made it seem like New England IPA with some characteristics of a West Coast IPA.

At the first pop of the tab, I could smell that this was going to be a good one. I was less prepared for what one reviewer below called "hop greenness/burn". This left a spicy aftertaste in the back of my mouth, almost like I was coming down with a cold, but that feeling subsided as I got further down the glass. I'll have another, please.

Poured from 16oz tall can into a dimpled mug. No date on the can.
Appearance: hazy yellow-golden hue with a finger of frothy ivory foam. It certainly looks the part.
Smell: berry, apricot, and peach aromas with a definite dankness. There's a fair amount of sweetness to the aroma, and the effect reminds me a bit of dried apricots.
Taste: flavor is a bit sweet, but those same fruit flavors come through pretty well. "Stone fruit and berry flavors but also very earthy and dank" ... I mean, it is definitely as-advertised.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and really rather a nice creaminess.
Overall: this beer works for me. Normally I'm a big fan of the tropical IPA but I guess I like dried-apricot-tasting IPAs too! You learn something new every day.
