Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden straw yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves some spotty lacing.

S: Zesty, light southern hem diesel, tropical and stone fruit, citrus, spicy herbal notes, slightly yeasty, crackery malt, and light caramel sweetness.

T: Quick hit of southern hem diesel, floral, zesty citrus, lime that really takes control as it warms, lemon, grapefruit, and tangerine, tropical and stone fruit, cantaloupe, banana, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, guava, apricot, mango, and peach, spicy herbal notes, bubble gum, a bit yeasty, crackery malt, and a little caramel sweetness.

M: Light to medium body, moderately lively carbonation, moderate hop burn.

O: There's something about this hop combo that comes together in a way I'm not crazy about. Lime really takes over up front as it warms up, but there's a kinda goofy cantaloupe banana bubble gum thing mixed in that gives it an odd funk. Not a bad beer, they definitely hopped the hell out of it. I'm sure some will like it more than I do, but I probably wouldn't go for a second pint of it.

Pours a opaque pale orange with three fingers of dense, white foam. Aroma is grapefruit, tangerine, melon, and lemon zest. It's abbreviated, but tropical fruit forward. Some doughy, bready malts behind, but it's mostly tropical fruits. Flavor profile is grapefruit, melon rind, lemon zest, tangerine, and clementine. It's tropical fruits all the way thru, but forming in a unique bundle. It's not overly sweet, being balanced out by some late doughy malts. Mouth feel carries a soft crispness with a medium thickness. It's nearing on soft, having just a sharp enough edge of effervescence to keep it from being pillowy. Overall, some quality tropical fruits sprinkled in at the front, but without ever being sugary sweet.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 16oz can.
