Dark chocolate, toasted biscuit and a hint of marmalade.
This 11% English Imperial Stout is full-bodied and rich, with warming notes of dried fruits and a flash of citrus on the finish. That brightness comes from Mandarina Bavaria hops, layered over a base of heritage malts. Chevalier and Maris Otter provide depth, smooth roast and a touch of tradition. English ale yeast ties it all together with classic character.
A beer to sip slowly or explore with friends as the flavors unfold. Slingshot is number three in our 10 Years Anniversary series.

Copenhagen 8/6 2026. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Can in De Moersleutel's usual design with a steely look and a wrench for logo. A little rocket in a slingshot around planet as motif.
Pours opaque dark brown with a huge dark beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a lonely island of foam floating in the middle of the glass. Almost no lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a potent odor of sweet malts and alcohol. Sweet ark malts mingling with earthy fumes. Leather and tobacco. Dark alcohol. Not much sign of the orange marmalade.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, fat, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Pronounced touch of alcohol- Finish is semi-dry.
More Imperial than English.
