Notes:
This beer uses a proprietary English yeast strain and is completely unfined and unfiltered. Tons of apricot, peach and pineapple hop flavors from the use of Galaxy, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra hops.

The beer comes in a hazy medium gold color, completely murky.
The aroma hits of yeasty bubble, loads of pineapple, citrus, earthy dried herbs, sweet citrus.
The flavor follows with juicy pineapple flavor, loaded with juicy yellow orange, some sweet grapefruit, a bit of grainy malt, onto an earthiness, spicy dried herbs, vegetal green bitterness, while still dry.

Had cans from both batch 1 and 2, both are fantastic. Golden hazy color with a bright tropical aroma. Definitely get the juice up front plus a nice mellow hop bite, super full body with a soft finish. Top tier NE style IPA, totally on par with anything else being put out around the US.

A glass of cloudy white grapefruit juice with a fluffy white head that fades but leaves a wind band of lacing. Bubbles continue to rise from the nucleation site of the glass throughout the drink. Nice scents of flowers, grapefruit, sweet malt and pine are noticeable. The taste is mostly bitter grapefruit pith and pine up front with a nice wave of mild sweetness and flowers at the end. Nice body and creamy mouthfeel in this beer. This is a really fine beer.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Ripe tropical and stone fruit, juicy citrus, a touch of pine, faint hint of bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Mix of big tropical fruit and citrus, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lemon lime, orange, peach, apricot, and a hint of blueberry, a little pine, a touch of bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Really glad I was finally able to track this one down. Well balanced, great use of a fantastic hop combo, still not sure how they coaxed that much pineapple out. Easy to see why it's a flagship beer from a great brewery.

Super thick-looking OJ color, almost like mango juice, with a finger of near-white head. Modest retention gives way to thin sheets of lacing.
Grass shows most for me in the fairly restrained aroma.
A little orange juice, mango, cream, pine needle and Juicy Fruit bubblegum up front in the taste quickly meld into light citrus pith-and-grass bitterness in the finish.
Thick feel with sharp carbonation.
Very solid NEIPA with nice mix of juicy sweetness and dull, grassy bitterness, making it very drinkable.

Hazy yellow body with a white head. Huge fruity head with pineapple, apricot, lemon, papaya, grapefruit and mango. Herbal hops on the finish accent in a way that does not diminish the fruit aromas in any way. Taste follows the nose with additions of peach, orange peel, and some dankness to the hops. Feel is bright, very fresh, decently juicy and crisp with a refreshing tropical vibe with hops that uplift the body. Just an all around wonderful NEIPA

Thanks, Chris!
A hazy orange witha dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is a riot of juice and hops, a blend of tropical peaches, grapes, a little passionfruit, honeydew melon and a touch of mango and papaya. Unlike other hazy IPAs, this one is clean - the hops are focused, bright and for a change, not vegetal. The palate opens with a clean and bright juiciness, mildly sweet with peach, passionfruit, Meyer lemon and caracara oranges. Green grapes, peaches, a little papaya are also present. A faint honey note along with a moderately creamy palate make for a great beer. I can't stress how clean this is - for the first time, i feel that haze actually adds to the beer in a positive way. Finishing fruity with kiwi notes, this beer is medium-light in body and mildly bitter. Quite exceptional.

Draught pour at their tasting room into a tulip. Looks like orange juice with a finger of white high density head that dissipates quickly and left spider web lacing. Nose is competing tropical and citrus, tropical wins by a nose. Taste is almost inverted, citrus dominates with tropical falling into the background. Finish is dry, very astringent, minimal bitterness, and lingers a bit. Mouthfeel is tingly from the astringency and some acidity, carbonation medium. Still needs work on softening the mouthfeel a bit, perhaps it's better from a can after a week or two. Solid beer, hope I can catch it canned sometime. Right now I prefer part Duex.
Revisited 20170315: Can dated 02/28/17 into a tulip glass. After writing a set of new notes, they pretty much mirror my original draught tasting at their brewpub. Still much prefer the mouthfeel on The Hermit (YOJO Part Deux), but this beer is solid in its own right.

No canned on date, but quite fresh, direct from the brewery
Appearance - Pours extremely cloudy and sunset orange in color. White, finger width head that dissipates in fair time to reveal a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface. Fair lacing, mostly consisting of broken lines and some spotting.
Smell - When cracking the can your nose is immediately greeted with a bountiful punch of orange and pineapple, with lesser mango lingering beneath. Pouring it into a glass reveals light pine and a bit of mild cantaloupe.
Taste - Follows the nose. Juicy orange and pineapple zing. Lesser mango hits mid-taste, as well as some faint, mild cantaloupe character. Malts come through with some generic white bread sweetness (and maybe a hint of caramel?). More pineapple zing near the end as the orange turns pithy and slightly bitter, leaving a balanced, tasty as hell finish.
Overall - I've been fortunate enough to have had a handful of some of the best NE-Style IPA's out there (Bissell Bros offerings, Heady, Maine Offerings, Hill Farmstead offerings, SoS, Julius and Haze) and I have to say this one is right up there with the best of them. So juicy and sweet, with just enough bitterness and acidity to keep it balanced. We're lucky to have this so close to Sacramento. The next batch of cans can't come soon enough!
