Sweet, tropical, slightly dank hoppy aromatics on this one! Really Good! Taste follows exactly with a silky-smooth and juicy subtle bitterness...nelson hop grapefruit like influence. This just feels fantastic on the palate...about as good as it gets in that regard. The hop bill on this one is outstanding and blends together well. This would be an all-timer for me if it had a little more depth. This is an outstanding dipa! Great!

Cloudy yellow with two fat fingers of soupy off-white head. Solid retention slowly gives way to thick, messy lacing.

White wine, pithy orange and creamsicle compete in the nose.

Most of the creaminess drops out in the taste, leaving strong citrus (orange and grapefruit), pith and white wine.

Medium bodied and lightly creamy feeling with moderate carbonation.

Great use of Nelson (as well as the Citra and Mosaic). Very tasty beer.

Can poured into a Founders Brewing Co snifter

A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces beautifully.

S: A little bit of everything from the fruit stand, tropical and stone fruit, white grapes, citrus, berries, and melon, slightly grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: All kinds of fruity, peach, apricot, white grape, guava, overripe pineapple, strawberry jam, tangerine, lemon lime, gooseberry, and a hint of melon, slightly grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.

O: I've been getting more into Nelson hops so I really enjoyed what they brought to the table with this one. It's a bit on the sweet side, but overall a very tasty NE-DIPA.

Canned 2/25/20

From notes:

Look: hazy pineapple juice with foamy white 1 finer head. Retained little lacing, clean

Smell: juicy apple, mango, coconut, hops

Taste: pineapple and coconut, melon and mango undertones

Feel: full and fluffy, slightly dry with good carbonation

Overall very solid, would have again

Lemony-pear beginning with a bit of dank left on the tongue. Lacking depth in finish...reminds me a bit of Sprite or 7up when cold (not in the sugary soda kind of way though).

L: Lighter yellow color.
S: Strong hop notes.
T: Clean refreshing with one hop flavor and a banana finish.
F: A hoppy beer.
O: An interesting twist on the usual DIPA

Damn. Like that Emma Watson chick, I mean, if she said, “Hey, Raul, wanna go for a ride?” Of course I would. Hands down. But is she my first choice? Not even. And here in Bubble Dust, I definitely have a drinkable, and enjoyable beer. But it doesn’t speak to me like Eva Green or Jessica Alba, ya feel me? It has a really nice citrusy/juice quality, but the flavor ends with dead grass which is something your boy just isn’t into.

Peace!

Picked up a four-pack from the Kings Beer & Wine cooler in Phoenix 3-12-20 for $16.99. Canned on 2-25-20; consumed cans 1 & 2 3-21-20.

Beer poured a hazy orange with a nice white head that is leaving some lacing behind.

Nose is very nice, tropical forward backed by generous citrus notes.

Taste follows the nose with mango and orange shining through the light but substantial malt base with a hint of white grapes and gooseberries in the background. Finishes well balanced with a bitterness of 5/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing for a DIPA.

Overall a very tasty beer that i would recommend if you enjoy the juicy style of IPA!

Interesting, but too interesting. It has a great smell and look, but tastes too close to kerosine to be enjoyable enough to appreciate the other complex tastes it delivers.

10 day old can into a tulip.

L: Pours murky white yellow with 1 finger of medium density white head with decent retention and left limited mixed lacing.

A: Great mix of dank attributes and Nelson hops. Loved it!

T: Follows the nose well, adding in berries. Finishes with some bitterness and lingering acidity.

F: Medium bodied with higher carbonation, full on the tongue but with some tingling from the acidity.

O: Really nice beer, quite interesting blend of Nelson with lots of Mosaic dankness. Happy I've got several more in the fridge. Will gladly have again.
