Nice spot around the corner from Knee Deep. Has a nice feel, with some smaller areas that are secluded from each other to cut down on the noise of the open bar/brewing space. I was very impressed with their beers, and am expecting good to great things from them.

Located near the airport in Auburn, in an industrial park, about a block from Knee Deep. Small interior space, kind of dark, tables and chairs. A big beer garden is attached with rows of picnic tables. Food truck availalbe. Got there when it opened on a Sunday, and then it was a steady stream of customers, lots of families too. Tap list was predominantly hazies, a few IPAs and sours. One stout. Flights available.

Having visited several times now I can say this is a mighty fine consistent operation. I'm partial to IPA's and they do not disappoint. Today I enjoyed the on site taco truck fare with a couple of DIPA's and left thoroughly satisfied. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly and knowledgeable staff and always a food truck for munchies. Oh yeah, the beer is stellar. Highly recommended.

This north Auburn brewery has an indoor drinking area and large shaded beer garden. It is immensely popular and was packed the Friday afternoon that we visited. They had 25 of their beers on tap with a fairly efficient and well staffed ordering system. A dozen of the brews were available in bottles or cans for takeout.
A daily rotating truck provides snacks and meals.

Solid. The select beers they have available in cans for take away usually sell out pretty quick.

Well, well, well...I finally got to visit Moonraker Brewing and I was not disappointed! This place has an excellent vibe to it! It has a different feel in each area. The outdoor area is nice...with the lights at night...right next to the food truck (they have excellent selections depending on the day)...the indoor area next to the bar feels like a normal brew pub with energy and volume...and the Barrel Room...this...if you don't have kids and are on a date or even alone (if available), the barrel room is fantastic...a little quieter and a little more private than out front. It has a great vibe to it with the trendy tables, fantastic lighting, and barrels up against the walls, this is a great spot for a date! And, i am not sure who picks the music, but it was a fantastic mixture of up to date, "cool vibe", selections. The customer service was fantastic, especially the owner's daughter and Alyssa (sp?)! They really made me feel welcome and put up with all my questions and excitement! I highly recommend this Brewery, even if it is a bit of a drive from the Sacramento Area...it is well worth it! Not your normal brewery experience in an industrial area!! I even got to meet Dan the Man (one of the owners)!

Awsome brewery. Probably the best in Auburn. Great award winning IPA selection set in a small industrial park style brewery. Fast and friendly staff. Good outdoor seating and always with a different food truck available. Highly recommend.

I've been to SAC about 5 times and i have visited Moonraker at least 7 times and each time it gets bigger and more fun to hangout

My partner and I stopped here at high noon on a scorcher of a Sunday after wrapping up some camping along the Yuba River. We arrived just as they opened for the day, so there were no crowds (yet). Read on below for specifics, but I'll cut to the chase and confirm that their YOJO IPA is absolutely fantastic. My partner had a coffee porter that was superb as well, definitely made for iced coffee lovers. The only letdown was the Jungle Double Crush DIPA that I tried after falling madly in love with YOJO. Heh, I actually gave the Jungle Double Crush away to a random empty-glassed patron just so I could instead have another YOJO (I was driving, so had to limit myself to just two beers).
Vibe- It's very clean inside and the air conditioning was MUCH appreciated. Restrooms were clean, and there was plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor). Dark wood and fresh paint. The outdoor area is a bunch of picnic tables on a large concrete slab under a hot tin roof, but it's a bit more cozy/inviting than that may sound--and there was a food truck parked back there during our visit.
Quality- This is a high quality establishment. From the beer they serve, to the glassware they serve it in, to the furniture and the lighting. Not much more one could ask for. We tried 3 different beers and only one of them was anything less than perfection.
Service- Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable staff. I asked if they could switch the Tour de France on for me and they happily obliged. I bought some fancy glassware and they packed it up and brought it over to me at my table once it was ready.
Selection- Way more beers available than I could possibly try in one visit. Plenty of different styles represented, but their bread & butter does seem to currently be the hazy juicy NE IPA and NE DIPA.

Another hop-centric brewery for Auburn. Tucked into an unassuming business park they are cranking out some delicious NE IPAs, but they also have some other styles available on the board for those not yet initiated into the lupulin cult. There is some indoor seating along with a good size outside patio with rotating food truck service. Can get busy, especially on can release days, but that's becoming the norm these days. Definitely a fun stop.

The tap room is in the brewery and for me that is a plus. Owners and family run the tap room and you will occasionally run into the brewer. Beers are top notch and generally there will be a food truck or other food venue available at the brewery. There is ample seating both inside and out back under the spacious covered patio.
When crowded, like during a release party, service at the counter can be a little slow but the wait is worth it.
Moonraker is rapidly becoming a "Brewery To Visit" in the Sacramento valley, and their beers are the reason.

Absolutely one of the best young breweries around. If you like IPA(especially NE style) these guys are on point. Been to brewery twice and have had several beers from them up against Trilium and others and they held up right with them. Fantastic stuff!!!

If you are ever on your way to North Lake Tahoe, I'd definitely recommend taking a 1 mile hiatus and visit Moonraker. I think you'll end up making trips specifically to visit the brewery after you first visit.
The brewery at first looks fairly small but the back side is quite large (no pun intended) and often they have taco trucks serving pretty good food (you just need to check their website for which one will be there on a given day).
The beer selection is pretty darn tasty. I'd say their IPA's are their best offering, but they have a pretty good stout as well. Depending on what day you are there, they may have cans available, otherwise you can get growlers and the on-site consumption prices are really good.

Really low key vibe with just some tables next to the bar. They do not have food, but there was a hot dog stand out back the day I was there. The beer here is really impressive, however they don't have a ton of stuff on tap and depending on the day, its hard to get bottles or cans to take home.

Great place to hang out. Food trucks out in the back with some nice shade outside. Knowledgeable staff. Only downside is it's 90% IPAs. They had a pale ale two stouts and a barley wine. Variety would be nice.

This place blew me away.
Vibe is just the standard warehouse conversion. However, they have a very nice large covered back patio. It's so large they had a food truck parked right in the middle, and still room for a bunch of picnic tables.
Quality is really good. I sampled 6 beers here and really enjoyed all of them. They definitely are really on point with their hoppy offerings though. Selection was also good, pretty good variety, and about 15 different beers available.
Service was good, speedy and friendly even though the place was jumping on a Saturday afternoon.
Not just the best brewery in Auburn, maybe the best in the whole Sacramento area?
