PULP DADDY is an award-winning 8% ABV NEIPA created as an extension of the popular PULP (Paul’s Ultimate Lupulin Protocol). Like PULP, this juice-forward IPA has a predominant citrusy aroma and tastes like nectar of the hop gods! We made one modification to the base process for PULP with a single objective in mind: dial up the haze. Objective accomplished. PULP DADDY is easy-drinking and refreshing with perfect nebulosity and mouthfeel.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazed golden-orange-amber color with a puffy head of off-white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, fading over time and leaving a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is huge of a orange juice and tropical fruit aroma with a big showing of tangerine, mango and pineapple. Along with these smells comes a nice blend of grapefruit and herbal hops as well as some notes of a bready and grainy smell and a touch of apricot and peach. There is a bit of lemon and a touch of grape in there as well, blending nicely with the tropical and the orange and producing a very inviting and juicy aroma overall.
Taste – The taste begins as one may expect from the nose, with lots of juicy fruit flavors of tangerine, orange, pineapple, and mango. Mixed with these flavors is a bready and doughy malt taste the compliments nicely the sweet. A moderate grapefruit and herbal hop are upfront, with these getting stronger as the taste advances. At the same time a bit of pine and notes of apricot and hay join into the flavor mix. Toward the end, the tropical flavors surge, with an accompanied increase in the grapefruit, and with a touch of booziness, it leaves one with a sweet, but somewhat crisp and nicely balanced citrusy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is moderate in nature. Fore the mix of citrus, sweet, malt and hop the feel is very nice, making this a flavorful and dangerously easy brew to drink.
Overall – A very well crafted and tasty, fruity, and citrusy, but balanced and very approachable brew. Would definitively recommend.

19.2 oz can acclimated to 51°F and poured into an IPA glass.
Pours a hazy, light, and vibrant orange with a 5 finger foamy head, which is white, tinged with the same orange, and leaves a maze of lacing and some seafoam like formations upon mostly dissipating. Very nice color
Initial aroma is heavy orange juice and some peel, subsequent sniffs reveal a little musty grassy smell, and some bright, citrussy, slightly floral hoppiness, but the aroma is really heavily dominated by orange. After agitating the smell retains all the same qualities, with the grassiness barely stronger, and overall being very bright and a little clear.
Initial taste before swallowing is slightly sweet with hoppy bitterness building . After swallowing I'm hit with more sweetness, an orangey, and generally fruity taste (I can notice maybe a little light peach but nothing else specific), and a moderate piney bitterness that fades somewhat by the aftertaste, hitting mostly the top of the back of the tongue and the back of the space between the lips and teeth. More than half way in I realize the sweetness is very malty, not sure exactly what but if I had to match a word to it I'd say caramel malt. To my taste the high maltiness clashes with the bitterness and fruitiness some, but it's not a huge downside, there's an alcohol warmth noticable when it goes down the throat, and some warmth in the chest after, but it's not really noticable that it's an 8% in taste.
Feel is both juicy and creamy, extremely nice. Feels viscous, almost as if it moves slower, while still being pillowy and very quenching and refreshing. Pulp is an excellent name because it legitimately is like drinking orange juice with pulp, in flavor but more impressively in sensation. Great carbonation as well, long lasting and smooth.
Overall I like this a bunch. My favorite thing being what I stated about the mouthfeel. I wish it packed a little more flavor in, especially fruitiness, but overall very good.
Will likely buy again, a little expensive for me but not unreasonable, and I enjoyed it a lot.

About as close to Heady Topper as it can get in PA. A must try for haze heads

Golden Orange appearance, fluffy quickly dissipating head , little to no lacing or veil
Aromas of peach, apricot, mango green grape, tangy orange and lemon. Pungent.
Taste is tropical with peach and apricot, hints of citrus and green grape. There is a bubblegummy note in the finish. I was expecting a bigger punch of flavors given the pungent nose.
Mouthfeel is thick appearing, slight sweetness. Low carbonation finishes up slightly astringent, prickly, and dry kind of flat in the sense that it goes from sweet to astringent quickly not a lot of chewy ness
Overall it’s a nice easy drinking beer, nice nose, the Citra and mosaic hops blend well. The peach and apricot are most noticeable.
