Pours burnished gold haze in the glass. Notes of ripe oranges, fresh pineapple and smooth pine. Our hand-selected Citra, Mosaic, Idaho 7, Cascade & Centennial hops combine to deliver a powerful lupulin punch. Soft mouthfeel and light bitterness for maximum drinkability. Juicy, tropical and totally fierce. Every Superhero needs a Sidekick.

Appearance: On draft. A milky, pale yellow color. Very thick and hazy. Almost pulpy. Bright white soft foam, just under a centimeter and quite persistent with long laces.
Aroma: Mild. Pithy citrus and peel. Orange, tangerine.
Taste: Orange and pineapple. Not much bitterness.
Feel: Soft. Thick. Very light carbonation.
Overall: An odd color for the style. It looks like a witbier and even has some wheat notes. Carbonation is too light. There is plenty of citrus but it just doesn't add up to an IPA. Too many things are missing or off.

Copenhagen 2/9 2020. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers Web-shop. Cartoonish drawing of a lot of sidekicks and an ominous red-skinned supervillain in the background. Looks like Marvel Bronze Age characters.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as frothy but thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with subtle sweet odor of exotic fruit followed by a potent citric scent. Papaya and mango. Citrus, lime and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
Fine dry and citric IPA. Could use a tad more intensity in order to graduate into a true superhero - instead of a sidekick.

From the pint can, it pours a hazy amber color with a very nice thick just off white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets citrus with some pineapple and a little orange. The mouth follows with the orange more dominant than the pineapple and it is overall very drinkable.

A really good NEIPA. More flavorful and hoppy than most!! Poured from a 16 oz cn into a pint glass, this beer featured a brilliant but hazy gold color with a little orange thrown in. It had a big, foamy white head with lots of lacing. many of the ingredients on the can were noticeable here. The hops profile resulted in a nice display of both piney and tropical fruit hops. The pineapple and orange flavors were strongest but some piney aroma and taste too!!, While no West Coast head shrinker, there was plenty of bitterness for a NEIPA. Mouthfeel was both juicy and bitter enough. Rich and crisp. Went great with pizza! I would drink this one again

Can't stand the whole comic book style can. But the beer is simply good. Hazy IPA done right, not too sweet or tangy, easy pour. Great on tap too.

The label confesses there's wheat in the wort. The pour that emptied a pint can's contents into a clear glass liter mug proves it. There's massive stark white foam that seems to be only resultant from an IPA when there's that much wheat. That's never a good thing for an IPA. Wheat certainly has its place in certain indulgences, like pizza dough, bread and even some beers. It doesn't belong in a traditional IPA. It almost always impacts that particular style negatively. So now, the massive stark white foam has receded, in fairness, more attractively than most. Just like the typical modern American hazy IPA, this is dull dirty blond, rather than copper-amber and it pushes the limit between opaque and murky. Oats and wheat don't make for much of an aroma for beer and this barely has one. The taste is bland, but bland in a good way. A more complimentary description would be mild. The hops are so well muted that there's almost no bite at all. Yet, there's a hop presence. Unfortunately, it would also be hard pressed to define those taste references. Suffice to say, there's just enough to make this taste like an ale. One thing the oats usually do is make a brew smooth and bodied. No exception here, as the mouthfeel is acceptable. But, they can also bring a dry, but sticky feel, let's say chalkiness, that this also does; albeit, not to great demerit. Overall, this is unoffensive (bland) for the lover of ordinary IPAs, but the muddling of wheat and oats makes this less than an attractive option.
