Golden Frau pours a golden color not much head. Sweet grainy chemically aroma. Flavor is very sweet, lots of honey, cheap grainy body. Sweet rough feel. Overall very sweet, too sweet.

A midwestern Hefeweizen and braggot hybrid ale of sorts.

Golden yellow, a tad hazy, finger and a half thick white head that fades to a thin lace after a few sips. No real legs, alright lacing when it decides to stick. Very pretty when the light hits it just so.
Light aromas of dough, honey, wheat fields, and a little alcohol. Nice and pleasant.
More wheat bread dough, a little tartness, with a drop of honey in each sip. Again, just nice.
Not much to say for the mouthfeel other than it's smooth enough and has a smidgen of chew to it.

Not sticking exactly to the style, neither exactly American nor German, but it does what it does well. Very popular, around here summertime often calls for adding lemonade or ginger ale and turning it into a shandy while grilling, though in the heat I like it on its own. As for wintertime, well, I usually move to other things in this freezing weather.

L: light cloudy golden yellow.
S: sweet gain and bread, not much there overall
T: honey Like sweetness has a bit of wheat and cracker fading to a clean or tart finish as the beer warms.
F: thin
O: Not a bad beer but be warned it is sweet. For my money there is better out there in the style but this is still a drinkable option.

I drink beer. I drink a lot of beer. At six bucks, I was reluctant to try this wheat beer.....but I did. Wow!!! What a joy. $3.00 a six pack is usually my limit. This is one fine brew....and it's made in NebrAska. This is no sissy beer. After 9 I could tell the brewers had done their homework. I was feeling good and ready to start drinking more. This is a man's beer. Glad I found it.....even tho it costs six bucks a six pack. I wish they would make it in quarts.

Undated can at 42 degrees into snifter
Aroma of wet grain and honey
Head average (2.5 cm, aggressive pour), white, frothy, diminishing to two mm ring and thin layer
Lacing good – wide lace curtain rings
Body light yellow, hazy
Flavor of plastic and alcohol; no hops, no diacetyl (unfortunately – it would have helped)
Palate light to medium, watery, lively carbonation

Appearance 4.5, Aroma 4, Flavor 2.5, Palate 3.5, Overall 3.75

Genuinely like this beer. Gorgeous color, taste is pretty good, good mouth feel as it seems a little more viscous to me than some other beers. Even at 7.5% very very drinkable. But they will catch up to you pretty quick.

The beerista talked me into trying this, even tho I'm a bit of a hop head. It's light and refreshing, not sweet or super wheaty as the name suggests. I wouldn't buy a 6 pack but it's a pleasant departure from my usual.
