Pours hazy dark copper color with a 2 finger foamy beige colored head that faded slowly and left good spotty lacing.
Smells and tastes of caramel, toasted grains, buttered biscuit, orange peel, citrus hops, toffee, brown sugar and in the flavor more toasted wheat bread, mild spices and floral hops. A lot of toasted malt and toffee sweetness in the flavor, much more like an English IPA but still pretty decent.
Mouthfeel is smooth with a medium body, it's a little bit chewy and has light bitterness that released grapefruit notes before cutting back to sweet malt, toffee and roasted grains. Easy to drink and pretty well balanced.

Served from a 12 oz (355 ml) bottle into a nonic pint glass at Ocean Prime in Orlando, Florida; no production information available.
A: Pours a near clear, ruddy dark copper color with a 1 finger, off-white head, relatively low retention, and limited lacing.
S: Very light nose. Aromas of molasses and biscuit, maybe a little lime.
T: More semisweet than semidry. Flavor largely derived from nose, although a touch nutty, bitterness fairly light and very much in balance.
M: Light to medium bodied with low to moderate carbonation.
O: More reminiscent of a traditional English IPA.

Had a bottle at Disney World. Pours a reddish brown color with a small off-white head. Head retention is about average. This beer smells and tastes like an English IPA. Strong malty background for both aroma and taste. Some hops bitterness but certainly not a US type hop bomb. More earthy hoppiness rather than strong citrus or piney hops. Mouthfeel is rich, good malt body with enough hops to call it an IPA. This beer goes down well with food, I would drink it again.

If I had not been expecting an IPA, this may have actually gotten better marks. Pours a dark honey color with minimal foam and lacing. The taste was certainly not what I consider and IPA. It was very malty and none of the pine-forward or citrus that I have come to know and love in an IPA. Again, if I had not been expecting an IPA. If this were to be sold as a heavy brown ale, probably would have gotten a LOT better marks.
