A: Pours a mostly clear golden/orange color. A dense two finger white head forms with excellent retention. Rings of lace are left behind.
S: A big aromatic nose. Dank, slightly vegetable like, peppery and spicy. Big citrus and pine aromas. Finishes with a touch of grains to help balance everything out. A really nice nose.
T: Like the nose, a pungent almost dank, earthy veggie like hop character (almost to much in that regard). Pepper, citrus, pine, light grapefruit. A touch malty grains to help balance everything out again. A light lingering bitterness.
M/O: A full body with effervescent carbonation. Crisp but very smooth at the same time, and finishes with a lovely dryness. The alcohol is almost pushing DIPA territory, but still very moreish. Something I want to keep coming back to.

A really well done IPA. Eureka Heights keeps coming out with better offerings all the time. IMO, this is the best they have done so far (along with Knight Ryder). Highly recommended, and something I am going to come back to often when I see it.

On cask at Hay Merchant (Houston, TX), dry hopped with Equinox, served in a shaker pint. Pale gold, nearly clear with a light haze; modest froth of white foam and no lace. Spicy nose with savory herbs, grapefruit peel, pine and earth. Light grainy body with plenty of hoppy pepper, grapefruit, citrus and light frankness. Closes bitter and clean. Light to medium, smooth body, lively but soft carbonation. Very drinkable IPA, especially on cask; light and crisp while full of flavor.

Pours a clear light golden color with a thick white head that leaves consistent lacing while drinking.

Nose is loads of citrus and grapefruit with a little lemon peel.

Taste is lots of bright citrus with a lingering but not off putting bitterness. Big grapefruit notes show up again. It's dry enough to keep bringing you back for another sip.

Mouthfeel is light, crisp, and refreshing. Perfect for a hot day.

Overall a really pleasing hoppy beer that is very drinkable for its almost 7% abv.
