Notes: This hoppy Belgian-style single combines Pilsner malt and Azacca hops to create a fruity and tropical aroma. This second summer crusher has a soft estery aroma with notes of peaches and pears. Flavor is stone fruit and citrus with a light breadiness. Pairs great with a fully stocked jukebox.

Poured from can into tulip (hard pour), 1 finger cream colored head, good retention and lacing. Hazy bright golden in the glass. Belgian phenols on the nose, fruity and some underlying bready notes. Taste is initially sweet malt, some juicy fruit, lemon and then it just kinda fades out. I do like the brightness that Azacca brings to the table. Slight bitterness on the end. Somewhat disappointed in this beer, was really hoping someone would nail a low abv belgian style. I think this beer could have benefitted from a higher carb level. I am missing that carbonic bite to reset the palate on this, so the beer just seems somewhat flabby on the finish. I just came back from Atlanta with some cans of Table (Central State Brewing), which is one of my favorite table strength beers, and one of the things that makes it so successful is the carbonation.
