Had Hop-Fu! poured from pint can, label stamped canned on "10/4"/2022, muled east by my little bro', into nonic pint.

Pours pale gold with clarity and 1-finger of foamy off-white head, with excellent retention, leaving some nice Belgian lace etched down the glass. Dry hopping resin, more than a hint of spice and some definite herbal aromas off pour, then big juicy fruit aromas, including mild and tarter stone fruits, tropical melons, and a nice range of citrus, and finally turning dank, dank as warms. Begins dry resin, then fruity and sweet, with stone fruits, mild citrus and berries predominating, over a little mild malt, before big pine notes arrive, leading into a dank, moderately bitter finish.

Not surprisingly, given the hop bill, this beer takes you on a top-shelf tour of all the classic West Coast elements, from bitter pine, through crisp fruit, to finishing bitter dankness.

On tap at the Function taphouse yesterday.

The beer pours a light peachy amber color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose, this is just a wonderfully aromatic WCIPA, showcasing resiny pine, light dank earth, light onion and some noticeable tropical fruit. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, but I'm particularly impressed by how light the mouthfeel is, and how easy it is to appreciate and enjoy this IPA. This is a very well balanced WCIPA, but with good bitterness on the finish to buoy the modest sweet malt in the mid palate. Also, it's really rare to get this amount of pine flavor in an IPA these days, which is another feature I appreciate. Alcohol is very well integrated into the flavor profile, and the beer has a long, very smooth finish. There are no off flavors detectable anywhere in the flavor profile.

Really outstanding IPA here, one I wish were more readily available where I live. This is an IPA that is worth seeking out IMHO. Impressive.

12oz pour in a snifter at the brewery. Entering review from notes.

Pours clear brassy-gold, with a dense, even ~0.5cm head. Light carbonation. Smell is bright citrus and flowers.

Taste is similar, except for the overarching pine resin.

Mouthfeel is very light and very dry. Very good beer.

Canned 12/26/22.

L: Pours a clear gold with a short white head that quickly disappears except around the edge of the glass, then vanishes completely. Oddly, noticeable bubbles rise upward even after the head is gone. No lacing.

S: Aromas of juicy fruit gum, melon, and fresh flowers.

T: Outstanding. A tropical/citrus medley up front, a bit of dank spice in the middle, and a dry/bitter grapefruit finish.

F: Medium mouthfeel. Low carbonation, despite the bubbles.

O: Looks a little flat but smells and tastes great. Recalls some classic west coast IPAs.

Had initially on tap at North Park tap room two weeks back, then picked up a very fresh 4 pack to return home with.
Pours a very bright clear golden yellow with two fingers of bubbly to rocky white head - no real lacing.
Aroma bangs with piney resin, weedy, sweaty dankness, spicy herbal note, and an array of tropical fruit, over ripe citrus, and melon.
Taste is at once malty sweet and yet with a ton of resin and piney, herbal dankness; still allows flavours of over ripe citrus, tangerine, tropical fruit with building bitterness.
Crisp medium mouthfeel with active carbonation and a lingering spicy bittersweetness.
Desert island beer!

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, old-school hoppy, and a piney-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a piney hoppy, hint of citrus, and a balanced, old-school hoppy bitter swallow. This is really clean with a nice crisp finish...drinks like a classic, well done, west coast from back in the day. And, for this being 7.5% ABV, it's pushing the envelope of just being a single. This is tasty! And, criminally underrated! This scratches that "west coast ipa" itch and is really well done!
